Example: User A sends an email to 100 people (using To,cc and bcc) . However the server needs to stop sending that message and cap a limit of 5 recipients per email
I had email forwarding from a site that I am running on a DirectAdmin host and its not working now.

I was thinking of setting up a VPS with smartermail, so I was wondering if this be done with smartermail?
It appears Comcast is now blocking port 25. As a result, I can't sent outbound email via my dedicated server. They had me change to port 587 for my comast email account, but that doesn't solve my not being able to send outbound from my dedicated server.
Is there anythighn I can do (like change the post my mail server uses to 587) so that I can send outbound mail from my server with outlook (over Comcast connection) or am I just stuck now with using web mail?
I'm using the free edition of MailEnable and need to configure each post office to copy all incoming and outgoing email to one of the email accounts on the same post office.
Is there a way to configure this ?
I know I can configure mail forwarding on incoming mail per account but need to do it for all acounts (except the audit account).
e.g. anythinghere@dbnetsolutions.co.uk
incoming or outgoing would be copied to audit@dbnetsolutions.co.uk
What I want to do is have a subdomain such as sub.mydomain1.com redirect to sub.mydomain2.com and have sub.mydomain1.com still show in the address bar... can anyone tell me quickly what the correct DNS setup for this is?

I'm looking to set up a server side "mailing list", with a few specifics. The idea is that someone could send a mail message to production@domain.com and it would then forward that message to all members included in that department (no more than 12 each). The old administrator here had us hosted on 1and1, who allowed 3 forwarders per email address, and he had managed to rig a system out of that, but I've just moved to Downtownhost (yay!) and they appear to only allow 1 forwarder. Is there a simple way to do this without having to make all users maintain their own mail distribution lists?
im trying to use my cpanel to set up an email forward and i just cant seem to get it to work.
Im forwarding from info@kiesuwkorting.nl to myemail@gmail.com
however when trying to email to info@kiesuwkorting.nl with that same email adress i don't get my send mail in my inbox.
Could it have anything to do with.
- some spam filter (not in my spam box though)
- my domain kiesuwkorting.nl being an addon domain to another account of mine.
I have a contact form using .php to forward the contents of the form to my email-ad, but turns out, that something i cant do with my free hosting plan.
i was wondering if anyone knew any services (free) that allow mail forwarding where i can host my .php script together with all associated files and simply link to them from my site?
that would be great! thanks!
(not sure where exactly this post belongs, but it's got something to do with my hosting so im posting it here. if any mods think it should be somewhere else, just move it to where you feel it is appropriate )
OS: CentOS 6.5 (Final)
Panel version: 11.0.9
I can receive email and check them via Horde but i'm unable to get them forwarded to my gmail account. Is there anything i can check/do ?I'm an ex-cpanel user.
So since some time the email forwarding is not working anymore. I am currently working on the version 11.5.30.
The main problem I have, is that the hosting provider who is responsible for the server hasn't fixed this since may!
My intermediate solution would be to add a webmail account so the person the mail is being forwarded to can use it.
I own my domain [url] and have a reseller plan on a shared host [url]I have the DNS on godaddy pointed to the nameservers of reyox and on the Cpanel of my domain at reyox I have a forwarding account [url]set to forward to my gmail account.
To the best of my knowledge this has worked flawlessly for years but recently I have been starting to not receive emails from people. I found out when I wasn't getting replies I had been expecting and when I inquired or called the people instead they told me that hey replied... it's been happening over and over again lately.
When I asked my host last week they replied: "We did clear up some mail issues last night, some issues with the queue processing."
However after that it kept happening and now I am at a loss.
I don't know what's wrong nor how to troubleshoot it... It happened with people that are on all sorts of domains (gmail, aol, personal domains etc) and it happens sporadically...
It's really frustrating because I don't know what else I am not getting considering that every other day I find out about an expected email I didn't get.
The werid thing is that none of the senders whose emails got lost reported that they received a bounce issue...
how I can address this in terms of troubleshooting it and finding a solution?
Is there some sort of email monitoring services like there are site uptime monitoring services?
Many of our clients create e-mail accounts that forward incoming e-mail to mailboxes hosted on other e-mail services. e.g., Gmail.
Lately, though, a handful of these accounts have been receiving a lot of spam (i.e., UCE) and that's been causing a lot of damage to our reputation with these other e-mail services because the message that's being forwarded appears to have originated from our servers.

Is there some way to...
Find accounts that are configured to forward to gmail?
Disable forwarding in accounts that are configured to forward to gmail?
I have two sites that register a high amount to SMTP traffic. Both sited have only forwarding email addresses.
Do forwarding addresses accumulate SMTP traffic on the log?
Also, if a forwarding email is created without a mailbox is it necessary to add a password so that "others" cannot use the blank SMTP server to send email out?
