I'm using RHES 3 + Ensim Pro 4.1.0-8, i know maybe an
option would be upgrade to Ensim Pro X, but right now I can not do that, i need alternative solutions..
I am currently coding a user panel but i don't understand/know how make a bandwidth usage bar/status (ex: Bandwidth usage: 30mb/1000mb).
I got mod_throttle patched(freebsd runtime bug) and installed.
So... any pointers/howto create the famous bandwidth usage bar?
Second question
Since all websites are stored in Virtualhosts and ftp users are in a mysql table (virtual users again), how do i set a quota for each virtualhosts? With pure-ftpd you can set a userquota and it works well, but nothing limit a php script from downloading since it doesn't use the pure-ftpd quota.
Using FreeBSD built-in quota is not an option since each users are virtual (no system account).
I dont find where or how can I change default mailbox size, traffic and disk space for each domain in Plesk 12 Web App Edition, I only have unlimited by default.
Is there a way to set the mailbox quotas for all of the mailboxes on a domain, at once? When I set the default, it doesn't change the quotas for existing mailboxes.
I've installed an SSL cert in an IP base site (over ENSIM panel), but now when I access to www.domain.com the explorer redirect me to https://www.domain.com:19638/webhost/rollout/site, and I cant see the site content.....I restarted apache after the Cert install, and nothing, still getting the same problem.
I am planning to move my sites from a dedicated server (Ensim Pro) at ev1Servers.net to a Plesk 8.1 based server at SoftLayer.com
The current server hosts 30+ websites. Most of those are static HTML sites and the remaining ones use MYSQL.
The technical steps are beyond me and I am looking for someone to help me. The move should not affect the customers and should minimize downtime as much as possible.
I also want to have all my accounts passwords, user names, database, email accounts moved and copied over to the Plesk server. The final step should ensure all accounts function properly.
If you have done this before, is there anything that I should pay attention to or be aware of?
Do you know of a good company that would do this for me? How much will it cost me?
how to install an SSL certificate on this server but really haven't a clue. I searched all over the internet and the ensim site with no luck. give me a little direction in my journey from hell.
We currently have a site hosted on a dedicated server, and we use Ensim to manage the site.
Although we can use Ensim to FTP, we mainly use Dreamweaver or other FTP clients to FTP.
What we are wanting to do, is set up and FTP user, so that they can only have access to certain directories. Is this possible? If so, what would I need to do?
Also, when they connect via an FTP program (assuming that the access has been set up as desired) will they only be able to see those directories specified?
I just want to know how can I enable directory listing while someone is browsing a directory that doesnt have an index.* created.. i know its a security risk but i really need it right now, right now a forbidden message appears, i just want that removed and all my files listed.
Can anyone explain me how to do that on Ensim Pro 4.1 for just 1 virtual site?

I got a few email accounts over quota limit. Even though it reached the quota the still consumes mail.
the size keeps increasing until HD space runs out. I checked other forums and they recommended to
do this find /home/virtual/site#/fst/var/spool/mqueue/ -exec rm -f {} ;
I did this but there were no files in there to begin with.
So every hour i keep getting this failure notice. This is a report generated by the hourly run of MailQueueCleaner. Some sites on this server have problems which prevent the processing of their email queues. UNTIL YOU RESOLVE THE PROBLEMS, THESE SITES WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECEIVE EMAIL. I just want to be abl to clear the mail out of selected accounts without logging in the account. I am sure it is some file to clear.
After login in using domain.com/webmail, everything is fine while I attempt to send mail.. but, If I try to forward an existen mail to a new destiny, an error message appears:

I don't know how it got broken, it was working a couple days ago. When users click the fantastico icon in their cpanels, a page opens that says this:
Fantastico is not installed at the default location /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico. Either move the Fantastico directory from it's current location to /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico OR enable ioncube loaders in WHM -> Tweak settings.
I enabled the ioncube loaders and that didn't fix it. So then I reinstalled fantastico and it's still broken.
I ran "yum update" on one of my servers, and it must've updated BIND, because now named doesn't start.

This is CentOS4 with Plesk.
Even though I don't have that package installed, and tried every suggestion there, it still doesn't start... I mucked with the configs and moved so many files I don't know how to get back to where I started.

I changed the nameservers on critical domains to a free DNS service to get them back online, but they're acting oddly (like DB timeouts), perhaps because of the lack of a local nameserver to talk to.

I'm trying to install some basic cpan modules to use ASSP with. On my other server, this all went without a hitch, but on this one (Centos), it it a pain. First off, every time I start up cpan, it's asking me to do some sort of reconfiguration..every time (running as root)...
Secondly, after I'm in the cpan shell, and I issue this:

Minutes after this microupdate auto-installed, I am unable to login to POP and IMAP on this server. None of the accounts are able to login. The logs indicate hundreds of login failures, accompanying a new record I've never seen in these logs:

I've googled the specific error I'm seeing above, but nothing appears to be remotely related to this problem.Is it possible to roll back the MU to determine if that is in fact the problem?
We had someone take a look at our server for security issues, and they believed that one way of keeping "hackers at bay" would be to write an sh wrapper that only allowed root access. Well, this immediately broke the system.
I have spent about six hours now attempting to fix this. We're using Red Hat Enterprise 4, and the recovery disc doesn't have the SCSI drivers we need to even mount the hard drive, so that's out. I can't skip initrd because it apparently contains the drivers for the hard drive, but it's also not allowing the system to boot up. I have tried setting kernel emergency in grub, but it still loads initrd and breaks. Without initrd, I get a kernel panic while mounting the hard drive. Annoyingly enough, doing cat initrd-version.img at the grub prompt shows the file just fine, so why is initrd required for mounting the drive if it's already accessible? Also, it doesn't look like there's any way to edit initrd from grub, which is a real pain in the head because I could always comment out the offending lines. And of course, even though I can see the initrd file, I can't do anything else with the file system. I have requested of the data center to provide a boot disc that can mount the hard drive, and if that can be done, then I can go in and make the changes immediately and hope that it works, but without that, it seems I'm stuck. Any suggestions?
When I say "broken", what happens is I get "Out of memory: Killed process x (procname)" which then repeats itself infinitely, killing any process which would load.
The data center says that they HAVE no boot discs capable of mounting the hard drive. This is utterly ridiculous, because the only option from here is to order the expensive OS reload. I'll never use Red Hat again.
My server (Fedora Core V and Plesk 8) hard disk broke 2 days ago and my bakckup tar.gz is too old.
Datacenter (fdcservers.net) tried to put old harddisk as slave but server is not recognising the old drive. Datacenter say that can not do anything more.
My question:
Is there any software or company that can recovery my harddisk data?
Following the update from 11 to Plesk 12 (and installing latest Ubuntu fixes), the Plesk panel access is broken. Welcome page says:Can not load key: key is empty.And of course, no way to login the mgt interface. All services appear up, so this is only affecting the panel web service.
