Plesk 12.x / Windows :: PHP Errors In WordPress
Mar 26, 2015I moved from one.com where my domain was hosted to strato, where I have a Windows Server 2012 r2 running Plesk 12.The problem is that wordpress is not working properly.one of my installations is accessable, the other isn't!The one that I can access, is working so far, as soon as I install a plugin for price tables and insert the shortcode to one of my pages, I get an "500 Internal Server Error". When I'm doing that on the server I'm seeing this error: "...httpdo cswp-contentpluginspricing-table able-templates td-grayprice_table.php on line 22"
As soon as I remove it and do it with another one, I get an error with an other file!So I guess the problem is not Wordpress but some missing php features, right?Do I need to activate or install some php extensions?
Plesk 12.x / Windows :: Install New Plugins Via WordPress
Mar 23, 2015Did a fresh WordPress install on a subscription. I was able to install new plugins via WordPress, and directly upload a theme file without any issues. However, when I tried to use the WordPress import too (uploading an 11MB XML file) I received an Internal Server Error, which brought the entire site down. No part of the WordPress site is accessible. Odd.
Checked the Plesk log - no errors there.Nothing in the IIS logs that shows an error either.When looking at the domain's logs, I see the 500 entry logged, but don't see any sort of reason for it having happened, to be able to resolve:

Plesk 11.x / Windows :: Wordpress App Won't Download From Parallels
Feb 19, 2014For some reason I cant seem to download the app on Parallels to create a website using wordpress.I have added the domain, clicked on applications > install apps > featured applications > wordpress..I then get a screen 'downloading and installing wordpress. But however long i leave it on this page (i left it for over an hour one time) it doesnt move off 0% completed.I have tried another domain but it does the same and also tried using google chrome (instead of windows ie9)

I have several users using WordPress that has been installed using the Plesk panel. They want to change the directory that WordPress is installed to. I know if that is done that WordPress will no longer be able to be managed or updated using the Panel. Is there any way to change the folder structure so that this application can still be managed by Plesk?

Jan 23, 2014Windows setup: Plesk Panel 11.5 - Server 2012r2 - IIS 8.5 - PHP 5.3/5.4/5.5 - mySQL/MSSQL. Server runs behind firewall (NAT). Setup with local DNS pointing all A records towards public IP.
Situation:
Installed Wordpress through Plesk applications. (mysql). URL....Installs themes in WP console. Everything ok. Installs theme from file, site gets an 500 error. Sometimes installation of theme goes fine, but once activated or previewed it shows 500 error.
Error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Feb 18, 2013I have a problem. I am running Plesk 11 with Windows 8. I installed wordpress and joomla. If I want to make one update from joomla 3.0 to 3.0.3 I get the error Internal Server error 500.
In Wordpress I get a error, too: By the update from 3.5 to 3.5.1 i get the error: The directory is write protect or not available.
In WordPress I instert in the wp-config.php following.
define( 'WP_TEMP_DIR', ABSPATH . 'wp-content/' );
Now, does the updates to WordPress and plugins work.
My question is, I am running not only one website with WP. How can I make the settings for all WP instances running on the server? And How can I fix it with the Joomla update?

Feb 8, 2015Window server 2012 r2: I installed wordpress on a domain using plesk. Seemed to work correctly. But when I went to the site www.example.com/wp-admin, the native or default wordpress install started up. I could find no way to bypass this, so I just re-entered all the same settings.
The result was that I ended up with 2 sets of database tables, one set named with my chosen prefix wp_blahblah_ and one set prefixed with wp_blahblah_wp_.
Not good, so I deleted the later set. Wordpress seems to be working, despite one error on the tables I can't reproduce.

I create a new domain then use Plesk Applications tab to install Wordpress. It shows the message:

Error: Unable to install the app because its installation requirements are not met. Contact your hosting provider to resolve this problem.
Requirements
PHP extension
The 'mysql' extension was not found.
However, php is installed and phpinfo shows that the mysql extension is installed. I try different versions of php, cgi/fastcgi but ll fail with the same error. I install Wordpress via FTP and it works fine.
There are knowledge-base articles relating to this error but they are for Linux and the solutions don't work in this case:

Maybe the Wordpress database has to be created before using Plesk to install Wordpress? If so, what should the database name be? How does Plesk know what the name of the database is that it should use? Why doesn't Plesk just create a database to use?

Your install of PHP seems to be missing the GD library (or a more recent version is needed). You should ask your host to update the GD module for PHP and disable the Captcha module until then.
Can we get our server management company to install this? More importantly, wanted to know the risk of installing the GD library. It's not going to cause any critical things to break is it?

a customers wordpress blog is taking all the cpu on the server, i can't figure out what the issue here is... i've tried many my.cnf's and i can verify that it uses the my.cnf file.. so that hasn't helped.. i can only mv index.php test.php for now until i could figure out why all these hits cause lag. any recommendations?
Wordpress CPU Usage
Nov 2, 2009For some reason, one of my clients wordpress blog is using 100% cpu on a php process per page load. To clarify, the first time you load the page it is very slow, and uses 100% cpu for the PHP process and then if you reload the page (while it is going slow) it loads very fast. After that is done the normal PHP usage per page load is roughly 1-4% if that.
I'm guessing something in the coding is looping, but I am unsure. What I do know is 100% cpu usage for one page view initially is insane.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix/resolve this issue?

Jul 19, 2009I am using version 2.3.1 on one site which I need to import over to wordpress.com However, a long time go the link to the back up options page disappeared and even upgrading does not help to retrieve it.
My problem being that over at the main site you need a WordPress WXR file to import with from a self hosted site. As mentioned that is not an option and I must have it imported somehow. I cannot also access the plugins page.

Mar 15, 2008I had no problem installing Wordpress Mu with iPower. Unfortunately iPower really sucks for performance (I have paid one full year though so I have to keep them ).
So I have moved to Hostgator but I'm struggling: there are many things that need to be done to be able to install it and I can't even do it myself only the admin can.
At the moment I'm still waiting.
So I'm looking for another webhosting service again - though I will stay with hostgator because of their outstanding support service - just for being able to install Wordpress Mu.
