I have the same error with randomly Forbidden error. The most time I see it is on 2 websites that are build with Gallery 2 and very rarely on other website, on my end never happent on other websites but some people told me it did.
Bellow is a small part of cPanel's "Last 300 visits" it shows every request so you can see first request was a direct link , I have wrote the galery name .. and the others are aither requests to images either other files ....
I had made a page on my site earlier and when i went to it it gave me a 403 error so i tried fixing the .htacess then the site got messed up so i reset the .htacess to tis original settigns and now when i redirect to anything but the home directory it gives me a 403 error can anyone help?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm noticed I was getting bounced email errors from a company I was sending email through and I further investigated this by running a dnsreport on my domain.
Turns out that it fails at Acceptance of NULL <> sender, Acceptance of postmaster address, and Acceptance of abuse address. The domain that I ran a test on is using a new IP that I had recently added to my Direct Admin server. None of the other domains on my server are having issues like this.
Is is possible that I need to do something to enable these new IP addresses in exim? I mean, exim obviously responds to that IP address, but it seems to be having some issues with it.
Two of my domains experience random DNS problems; I've had frequent complaints from eastern countries (and sometimes experience the problem myself) that at seemingly random moments the domain will not resolve. For the eastern countries, this may go on for days at a time, while for myself (in the US) it's no more than an hour or two. While it may work for some, it randomly goes down for others.

A few customers have noticed random domain names inside their email headers and I can't figure out why.

My server is centos 5 with cPanel.
When I go to [url](xx.xx.xx.xx being an IP on my server) it shows a random web hosting account that is on that IP?
How do I stop this and put one page there or the "great success, cPanel and apache are working on your server" page there?

I got my all accounts backup from the reseller panel I had earlier and then restored them on dedicated server using multiple account restore feature of WHM. but the problem is , when I try to open those transfered websites , they show :

I've been recently trying to move an account between servers, but the backup file is always incomplete. I was told that it is possible there are too many files.
I decided to tar some of them and move manually, but I cannot access the tar file. I already changed all permissions (644), owner, group, but I still get 403 Forbidden error. Is it possible that the file is too big (9 BGs), and if it is, how do I change the file size limit?
Installation was installed fine without errors and I've change the required permission to 777 as stated on the official website but I could not get rid of the Forbidden 403 error. Folder of live is on root of Public_html.

When I try to change the chmod in my FTP program I get the error "550 SITE CHMOD command failed.". What can the problem be? I have a solution for how I would implement this solution on a non-CMS site. What complicates this is that most of the sites I manage are based on the Joomla! CMS.
Quite often, a webpage that has been extended with 3rd party extensions can have as many as 10-12 CSS/JS files. My problem is that I haven't found a way to suppress the links from being added to the page without having to hack every single extension being used.
One thought I had was to use mod_rewrite with the Forbidden flag for all of the CSS and JS files being requested except for the combined ones I created. My question is: Will this save much load time since the browser will still need to make the same number of requests? I am assuming it will be at least marginally better since nothing is being downloaded but wasn't sure if it would be noticeable.
Sometimes this page appear for some users, May I know why ?

2- this error appear mainly with users whose from "Arab Gulf area" whose access Internet via proxy. May be this is reason?
I have enabled mod_status on my box. Its RH Linux EL4. I seetings in httpd.conf is as below

I regularly have DNS issues with some of my sites hosted with a specific host... At random sites, the urls done resolve and I get a DNS error.
Just to find out that a few hours later it loads again without issues...
I always thought it had something to do with my ISP... My host says that there's nothing wrong with their DNS.
However, I asked a few people now and it seems they're having DNS problems too sometimes when accessing the problematic urls...

It was working fine a week ago. I don't believe I changed anything major.
What's the go with seeding the PRNG on windows as there isn't dev/random or dev/urandom? Should I use CryptoAPI or just use a file with random contents and change it often, or just leave the PRNG to "almost" randomise itself?
