Plesk Automation :: New PPA Test Install Can't Seem To Create Web Spaces

This is a new test install of PPA 11.5.5 with currently 8 nodes: CP, Apache, IIS, MySQL, Mail, 2 BIND, and Webmail. Installation and adding nodes went pretty much without a hitch so I'm testing account creation, subscription settings, etc. but I'm not getting very far. Anytime I try to add a subscription (any subscription) to an account I get the error: "Owner with external ID = '211' does not exist in Plesk database" The actual ID number varies depending on which account I'm trying to add a subscription to, but otherwise it's always the same error. I've tried the built-in default subscriptions, I've tried creating my own...same results either way.

Having an issue creating a brand in PPA 11.5. After configuring the brand, all tasks complete okay. After opening up the website, i receive the following error:
Bad Gateway: Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.
Web Server at branded.name.com
I have tested this on
PPA version 11.5 Update #02 and PPA version 11.5 Update #03
Still not working. In both cases I re-created the brand.
im getting an error when im trying to create a subscription on a windows node via PPA management node, the task error is:
Method name: registerIpPlesk on SCREFleskWebIIS:0 Last execution output: This IP address XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is already registered in Panel on the network interface Local Area Connection
the IP XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the correct service node IIS ip address..
I configured Cloudflare in admin panel, I then logged in using my test customer account, I tried to install CloudFlare application (without license key for free mode) . I got the following error:

We have a Windows server that we are deploying the PHP package onto. In the Packages Repository, there are two PHP packages (5.3.10.4 and 5.2.17.0-1). When I deploy a package to the new Hardware Node, it only shows me the latest version of the PHP package (5.3.10.4). Is there a way to select the older version of the PHP package that is in the repository (5.2.17.0-1)?
it is possible to run services such as Apache, Mail, MySQL etc on the Management Node.
I have PBAS setup and have registered the PPA server with PBAS, the PPA Management Node is marked as ready to provide, I have added the appropriate attributes to the MN under Service Nodes, however according to PBAS I need to install the ppa_apache package (and probably others), and when I go to install the packages it's trying to install the ppa_agent package which is conflicting with ppa_core.
I'm in the process of installing PPA on infrastructure running Parallels Cloud Server. Each container has 2 interfaces, one public facing and a private interface for inter-server communication.
No problems installing PPA 11.5 (specifying IP's on commandline) or adding service nodes however, the firewall rules the documentation speaks of are nowhere to be seen? i.e.:

Has this been dropped from PPA 11.5 ? (I recall seeing the firewall settings in 11.1) There is also no sign of the ppa.firewall tool that is also mentioned.
The only rule I see inserted is for Postgres on the management node, and 2 for pleskd on all of the nodes (open to world!).
I'd like to install xen vps system to test out instead of paying Virtuozzo $1k+ for licensing.

I installed this on Centos 5 server. I got one tiny problem now:

On a clean install of CentOS 6.6 (Final) I did the following:
1. updated the /etc/hosts file to point my ip to the hostname
2. Open the ports in the iptables file.
3. ran the ppa_installer per the instructions on [URL] ....
The ppa_installer log says installed Successfully. However the following occurs:
1. Cannot browse to the url:8443, or any of the other variations (8080, 8880, https/http)
2. Yum installer is now broken (I replicated this twice). Yum will not run at all with the following error:

I'm trying to get up an SPF record on my domain because my emails haven't been reching Hotmail users and Hotmail recommended setting an SPF record. I'm just having a slight problem, I've entered everything in to the DNS settings in WHM but when I test them at DNSReport.com, I get the following (I've changed my ip and domain)

Are there any web hosts that allow spaces in file names?
I am building a web site using Adobe GoLive. It contains many photo galleries using Adobe Photoshop CS3 (Adobe Media Gallery). When I upload a test site to my domain hosted by Yahoo using SmartFTP, it is rejected because the file names of my photos contain spaces. See <hayesphotos.biz> When I look at other photographers' sites, many use real world file names with spaces. I have inquired at two other large web hosts and they tell me that spaces will appear on their sites as "%20". My test site looks fine when previewed on my web browser with spaces. Their answer is to use underscores. Am I asking too much for a web host that allows file names in english?
I am trying to set up log rotation on my Apache Server on Windows 2008 using the rotatelogs.exe executable. I believe I am having issues because my directory path has spaces.
From my understanding, a full path is needed for the ErrorLog but not for the CustomLog

WAF is On, with Atomic Basic ModSecurity rule set.
I was wondering if my sites were protected and I went to the Atomic wiki.
When I run a test from a non-whitelisted system following these instructions (STEP 10) [URL].... I always receive 404 error with all of my sites.
I also tested with:
[URL]...
Results: The sites load normally. (the call not even appears in the logs)
I've unistalled and reinstalled mod_security several times with the same results.
Is there any "official" way to check if WAF is protecting Plesk 12?

you'd need to ask parallels about this, we made the ruleset available to them, but they implemented it using their own design. They might not be using 403 error codes like we do.
My server is a debian 7 64 bits with plesk 12 last update.
A customer installed drupal 7.4 from plesk panel successful. However from Drupal/Configuration admin panel can not enable "Clean url". Clean test url failed too:

I wrote a script to test the integrity of my DNS and run it from time to time on my server...
I just ran it today and it discovered I suddenly have 5 domains with SOA-records that doesn't point to itself. They point to the secondary nameserver.
They are records that exist for years and were for sure correct before (I know this because of that script).
If I do a "restore defaults" it isn't corrected and if I switch to slave and then back to master it doesn't change either...
The file /var/named/run-root/var/obfuscated.com is updated, but the slave-DNS stays in that file...
The only way I'm able to correct it is by deleting the NS-record with the slave DNS and adding it again.
I assume there's some mechanism that scans the NS-records and then decides to make that one the SOA. This has always worked fine... also on this server.

I have recently deployed PPA with on nodes with hostnames on the serverroom.net.au domain, so management.serverroom.net.au, mail.serverroom.net.au etc. The DNS is currently hosted on a plesk server which will soon be migrated to PPA.
When I add the serverroom.net.au domain to PPA, I it fails at the sync task with an error saying that there are no A or AAA records for ns1.serverroom.net.au, even when these records exist in the external DNS. The same error occurs when I try to add the domain as a dns entry and switch to internal...
i have installed a Win2008R2 server with IIS and Coldfusion. I want to allow customer to set DSN, i know that older "Plesk Panel" versions that can do but i missing this now in PPA in the customer view. In the subscription is OBDC and Coldfusion connections allowed and unlimited. Must i do anything to activate this ?
We operate many Plesk VPS servers in a virtual environment for our customers and would really like the ability to allow Plesk VPS servers to switch to using our PPA DNS servers instead of having to have multiple ips on each VPS to run their own name servers. Not to mention the added nuisance of each customer having to register name servers and glue records.
We looked at adding the Plesk servers as nodes to our PPA cluster but the license jump and loss of Nginx is completely prohibitive. Is this possible?
