We found an issue after running plesk mchk command to restore all the mail server settings with SpamAssiassin settings enabled for all email accounts on the Plesk Server.
After running the mchk command, we found many warning messages in the psa maillog as following "authpsa : No such user [Email account] in mail authorization database".
We checked the mysql database for records on the Email Account that the error is referring to but found that the Domain Email Database was deleted (email address, password, email data). Is this something normal that the plesk mchk command does? Plesk 12.0.18 Update #37
I have a brand new A8i server from 1&1 that has crashed twice today and could only be rebooted through the 1&1 control panel (not Plesk). Out of the blue the server is not accessible from the Plesk CP and is not responding to pings. I have looked through the logs and do not see anything that stands out (I am not very Linux savvy). Is there somewhere specific that I can look that would tell me why it is locking up/crashing? I have only had the server about 2 weeks and am only running email on it (no websites besides webmail and Plesk CP). It is possible that there is a hardware issue, but I cannot have 1&1 check it until after hours tonight.
Server is an 8 core Intel Atom 2.6GHz with 8GB RAM.

How can I fix this problem? The Script is 100% i/O because it has worked onder PHP 5.2 and its comp. whit 5.4.
They have a server with 4GB RAM installed, but unlike all other servers, this one shows only 3.6GB (3631816k) in top command. How to fix it to show correct 4GB ram?

My hosting company is telling me my VPS is running out of memory. Lets look at the stats of the site and the server.
Server: Centos 384 megs of ramm 1 gig burst ramm 20 gig hard drive cPanel My total traffic for last month was about 7 gigs.
Webite: Vbulletin 3.6.5 with a few mods database is about 16 megs 99 members The most ever online was 20
Yesterday my site started showing a database error page, instead of the website index page. The stats at the bottom of the page showed only 7 people on the site at the time. When I contacted my hosting provider, they told me I was maxing out my memory and burst ram.
So how can a website this small max out the given ram? This is really starting to TICK me off. I have left two hosting companies because of poor performance, why cant things just work right? How is my community supposed to grow if my users keep getting a database error instead of the web page?
After upgrading the panel from 10.4.4 to 11.5.30 Update #23, I am not able to sort domains based on the "Renewal Date" column. With 10.4.4, I was able to sort. Is there anyway I can do this on 11.5.30?
i have to delete all PTR records in over 80 domains in a Plesk 12 panel, when i tried to run the dns command to remove the PTR record from a domain, i got the error :

There is a KB article about this specific problem : [URL] .... , but it refers to older Plesk versions (8.x-10.x). I gave it a shot by copying the fix file from all 3 different versions to /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/api-common/ and i got the following PHP errors:

Up till the last update Plesk was working correctly. After the latest update I can't send out mail in any form:
webmail, pop3, wordpress forms, etc.
This is the error message I get:

When I reverted back to the last snapshot before the update everything works fine again. But the automated update bot messes it all up again when it downloads the newer version.

The firewall is not enabled. What kind of security should I have on my server? Ive read that if I enable Windows Firewall my remote desktop connection will be blocked & this will mean me having to contact the server company via phone etc.
I run a drupal site on a VPS running Lighttpd with 128MB ram and 15GB disk space. Every so often the server crashes and I have no access to even reboot via the shell, I have to get my host to reboot the VPS. They say its most likely due to the server running out of memory. I would have no more than 5 users plus 5 guests online at the same time. So my question is this...
How can I find out exactly what is consuming the memory and causing the server to crash? I have looked at drupal logs and the server logs, but I'm no wiser as to whats causing it. What should I be looking for and what can I do to try and solve this?
I have a VPS with 512 MB ram. I have 6 sites hosted on my VPS, of which 3 contains only static pages. My site is not very traffic heavy. Infact I moved to my VPS only 3 months back, until then it was running on a shared server with no problem.
But still, I am always running out of RAM. I have upgraded my account to 512 MB ram from 256MB because of this. Can anyone please tell me how I can find out what is the cause of this excessive memory usage? On rebooting my server, the RAM usage goes down to about 250MB.
I have just recently moved to Plesk web admin from cpanel. I have been trying to get the cron to run for the past 48 hours but no luck. Bellow is the code i have been trying to execute via cron but It does not run.

I'm using this script as a cron to generate DKIM keys for the domains I have. It's an easy script. And it does it's job just OK. I have the necessary software installed and configured.
The way it works is:
The script check if the domain in queue has a record for it. If it doesn't, OpenDKIM generates a one time DKIM record for mail._domainkey that I am entering to my dns records for all the domains I have.
After creating the DKIM record, it checks and deletes mail._domainkey records if there's any. Then adds the generated DKIM to plesk dns zones and disables/enables greylisting to create the appropriate dns entry.
If it does have a DKIM recors on the hdd already, then it removes
mail._domainkeyand TXT o=-entries.
After that it basically adds the already generated DKIM record and it disables/enables the greylisting for each domain in order to recreate "TXT o=-"
Up till here, it works fine. I can see these entries when I check the DNS Settings. They are there.
But whenever I run this script either via cron or manually, I get an error message on my panel: (You can check the screenshot as well)

I'm looking for the command line equivalent of these steps: Log into Plesk as the server admin > "Tools & Settings" > "Tools & Resources" > "Backup Manager" > check a backup and click "Remove".
We have a script that copies the contents of "/var/lib/psa/dumps/" to Amazon S3 for long-term storage of backups. It runs nightly after a scheduled Plesk backup. Once that script completes successfully, we'd like to delete the Plesk backup to free up disk space. We have Plesk's "Maximum number of backups in the repository" set to 1.
But Plesk appears to keep that backup around while creating a new backup (which makes some sense). This is causing us trouble because the server does not have enough disk space for two backups. As a temporary solution, I'm manually deleting the backup each day through the Plesk admin, but would like to automate it if possible. If automation is overly complex/risky, we'll look at upping our disk space instead.

We have a plesk server running on a Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS machine. We check the state of the mailqueue with nagios, executing the "mailq" command. After the AutoInstaller upgraded our installation from 12.0.18 update 38 to 39, we noticed, that the nagios check failed.
After investigating a little bit, it seems that we found the problem:
When I enter "mailq" in the shell, the command is executed and gives me an proper output. But when I try to execute the command with its full path "/usr/bin/mailq" nothing happens, and I have to cancel with [ctrl]+[c]. The which-command delivers exactly the same path as written above...
I currently have the Web Application Firewall (ModSecurity) installed but would like a visual interface to block IP's, subnets etc.. Can I install the Plesk firewall as well without any conflict with the Web Application Firewall?

If i go to Server -> Scheduled Tasks and look for it, it cannot be found anywhere. Also scheduled tasks only shows system users, not 'Plesk Administrator' as the kb articles refer to.
