Plesk 11.x / Windows :: Delete Inactive MSSQL Remote Server
May 13, 2014I have an account which used a remote MSSQL server which I have since deactivated, but before deactivating I forgot to remove the DB and Server from plesk.
So now I can't remove the remote MSSQL server from plesk as there is a DB associated with it, and I can't remove the DB because it obviously can't find the remote server! I'm now stuck in a loop!
How I can force remove the DB/User from plesk and then the remote server ? I'm now receiving errors whilst backing up the account, so needs to be done.

Jul 27, 2014I'm using Plesk 12.0.18 version with Windows 2012. I need to backup files to remote ftp server. Remote server configuration is Windows 2012 with IIS server. It works with ftp clients very well.
But, i have a problem about Personel FTP Repository. I open Personal FTP Repository Settings and write all boxes with true information about remote ftp server but it says "Transport error: unable to list directory: Curl error: Login denied".
Ftp server works fine with ftp clients and cpanel backups.

I'm serving not more than 20 sites and only a few of them user mail server frequently

Now I want to import all domains and users from my old merak server to my plesk server, but I can't figure out how to do it. I can import them to the installed merak mail server on the plesk server, but I can't find a way to import them into my plesk.

Mar 31, 2014I have Plesk Panel installed in server 1 and mailenable in server2. I disabled mail service in server 1 and configured external mail (by the way, I cannot start it back) - Tools & Settings -> Mail -> External SMTP Server to my server 2.
Every contact form created with Presence Builder never worked, and I do not know why. Is there any work around? When Plesk is going to handle e-mail forms with a PHP file?

Apr 29, 2014We have the Windows version of Plesk 11.5 installed. I've removed the "Management of access to the server over Remote Desktop" but two of my sites (there's only 4 so far) still have the remote desktop button available if you log into the user account and switch to those two domains. Switching to the other two doesn't display the icon. I'm not sure if there's another place where it gets turned on/off as I've tested creating a new subscription with the "Management of access to the server over Remote Desktop" ticked and it's not giving me the desktop icon there.

May 20, 2009I am having a VPS and tried to use RDC from home and it i working. But from my office I couldn't since it looks like RDC is blocked when connecting to out of LAN.
I have tried with the support to change the ports couple of times but still didn't work.
I tried: GoToMyPC, IRemotePC etc. But I believe these 3rd part software doesn’t work in Windows 2003 Server.

Oct 24, 2007We change mail server, so the old box is now dedicated for web hosting, but since web site and cp system still sending emails out, it seems that unix php cannot support remote smtp by setting php.ini, after we changed mail server, our email queue from 100 goes up to 1500 in a day with our outgoing emails. I have to deliver them manually one by one it seems, but still some of them cannot being deleveried.
New mail server has setup with ptr to mail.ourdomain.com. Can anyone got idea about it?
