View 14 Repliesas much as i hate it, the host of one of our hosting packages, skynethosting.net, is not getting any tickets from the support system (skynethelp.com) and noone replied to me in chats, even though i DID find someone online right before. I am not getting tickets in my email when submitting them and i do not get any answer as well to my 5+ tickets in the past 5-6 days. They also have NO email address to contact them for support for "spam reasons" which i partly understand. I have no problem with this host other than this one, cause i need someone dependable to take care of problems as they arise. I can switch hosts in a heartbeat if i want to, i just want them to take care of this or at least be honest with me if they are going to close the company or whatever they are doing, or at least have a backup guy if something happens to the one and only guy handling all the support issues?
Anyway i am pretty pissed off by this, i never had such a problem with any host (cheap or expensive) and i was already thinking about moving to another host, but given they do not even answer my questions, how am i going to unsubscribe then?
If someone from the company is reading this, please respond, this is totally out of bounds, its almost a week with no support on a semi-dedicated package costin 30$/month!
Be aware and do not subscribe till you really know whats happening behind the scenes, as you might be in for a surprise.
I had ordered a vps from them yesterday, today morning I got the vps,but the vps was down, they said it's a ip problem, then 10 hours ago,the last ticket they respond wa tell me they still fix the problem, but now I still not get my vps
View 12 Replies View RelatedI signed up a new hosting account two days ago. Yesterday, I found my telephone +91.1142316457 had been changed to +1.911142316457 and obviously telephone could not be confirmed. Their chat window vanishes on submit and telephone is not attended - I left voice message. I created support ticket and emailed back.
24 hours after signup I requested order cancellation. Despite reminder every few hours, I am not receiving any response.
i know that one or more of the people who work for hostecon post here
i just want to say i am very upset right now
hostecon was a decent host - but i decided to end my offshore site
i had prepaid for another 4 months before i told them i was cancelling my account and wanted my prepaid money back
they told me they would cancel my account on the 1st of april and give me my money back
it is now april 2nd, hostecon.com seems to have vanished, and i have not received any money from them.
if you work for hostecon or know how i can contact them then help me get this sorted right away. hostecon support has always been great, but i just dont need their services anymore and want my prepaid money back.

We had problem with high-cpu-usage by ctmilter.I just restarted service /etc/init.d/ctmilter_initd restart..I saw, that daemon ctmilter_initd is dissapeared! There isn't in /etc/init.d. I try to find it in whole server:locate ctmilter_initd ...But result is empty! Can I try to reinstall this service?
I've been with Cyberpixels hosting for about 4-5 years now, and I tried to contact them about 4 months ago regarding login info for my ftp & domain since the original registration email was sent to a email account I had with a domain that just expired. Anyhow, 4 months later no tech support response! I've tried everything I can think of to contact them.. includeing phone.
This is a big problem for me because my business depends on my website and I can't access even the domain!! All my promotional work includes that web address (meaning I've spent thousands promoting a certin domain and now I'll be screwed if I can't access it).
All my sites using SSL are now broken and the panel says there are no certs.... I hope they are still there somewhere where I can find them.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSite has disappeared, though still shows normal in Parallels Panel
I keep a simple site for my art portfolio and some misc files hosted with unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk and Parallels Plesk.
Yesterday I noticed that the site and all its contents give a 404 error, and the home page shows the default page generated by Parallels Plesk Panel. However, all my files are still accessible from ftp and the Panel:
The index.html file is still the same old one as it should be, yet the homepage doesn't show it.
As per the default setup, all the content of the website is in the httpdocs folder, not the root. Though I did try copying the index.html to the root and see if that worked, but it did not. I'm very inexperienced when it comes to web hosting and everything related, so I'm not sure if it's somehow user error or if I should try to contact Parallels.
Here's a history of emails I received from them - notice how the invoices are followed by multiple payment confirmations:
So perhaps cancelling the one payment made them think I wanted to cancel the hosting and the site was taken offline? I don't know.
