how you create a custom icons/plugins group in cpanel. I know you can make new icons like one for Domain Registration or whatever, by using the cpanel plugin creation tool at cpanel's website. But, I was wanting to create a whole new 'category' of icons, like how "Domains", "mail", etc.. has it's own categories.
I've tried just about everything to preserve owner/group using rsync. I've tried running rsync as a daemon, etc.. I user rsync to backup /etc /home etc.. when restoring data I have to change the owner/group for everything this is very time consuming!
I have a samba server running as a NT domain controller, and a linux client computer that is joined to that domain controller. I login to the linux computer as a domain user, is it possible to assign local groups (e.g. games, floppy, video, etc) to the domain user other than modifying the /etc/group upon successful authentication? Can pam_group do what I need?
I'm trying to get multiple GUN groups to have access to certain directories.
Access to transport, delete
When you go to access transport or delete you get prompted for user name and password when entered you get in. However when I add GUNtest10 in the required ldap group. It doesnt accept your user name and password.

I have a server that has Cpanel doing nightly backups using the built in auto backup tool in WHM. However, I have one account on the server with a 7 GB database. Everytime this database was dumped to the backup it would lock the database from users accessing it for about 30 minutes.
So instead, I'm now using a slave/master replication setup to do the database backup incrementally and have excluded this account from being backed up every night.
However, I would still like to be able to back up the account itself. Is there a way to setup a unique cron task to backup just this one account and skip the mysql database export?
Does cpbackup do anything more than just zipping up the account's folder in the home directory? Or are there other files it needs to keep in order to do a restore?
Is there any way to get rid of this loading icon every time you visit the tools and settings page (top right during page loading)? It only happens on our Plesk 12 servers that were not upgraded from Plesk 11.5.
Its irritating because the page layout jumps around after the loading is complete. It is the only page to do it and it happens regardless of the internet speed.
Disabling "Enable access to premium commercial apps on the Interface Management page fixed the issue in Plesk 11.5 but this does nothing in Plesk 12.
We have the Windows version of Plesk 11.5 installed. I've removed the "Management of access to the server over Remote Desktop" but two of my sites (there's only 4 so far) still have the remote desktop button available if you log into the user account and switch to those two domains. Switching to the other two doesn't display the icon. I'm not sure if there's another place where it gets turned on/off as I've tested creating a new subscription with the "Management of access to the server over Remote Desktop" ticked and it's not giving me the desktop icon there.
I have a limited access to WHM because I'm with a resellet account, but I want to change the new account email that sends cpanel. Server has installer RVSkin if this helps...
I've looking in WHM but I didn't see anything...
Can you tell me where is this option? then I check out if I have it...
I am facing the following issue: Web Presence Builder icon is missing from Customer Control Panel.
I tried to apply the following solution from the knowledge base: [URL] ...., however I ended at step 2, because there is no "Sites published with Web Presence Builder" parameter in any of my Service Plans.
I am running plesk Panel 11.5.30 instead of 10.x. and step 1 tells me the parameter "Sites published with Web Presence Builder" equals 10.
i have a server with whm/cpanel and would love to have custom error pages that work server wide not just for a specific domain. I have tried adding the "ErrorDocument 404 errors/404.htm" to the httpd.conf file but it doesn't work.
I have no trouble getting custom errors to work for a specific domain but can't seem to get it to work server wide.
Has anyone else tried to tackle this and actually had success?
