I would like to redirect Every request with "#!string" to new url (same page) - [URL] ....
I know that the code above needs
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
to be added but it doesnt even makes the redirect to 404. The url doesn't change.

Building An Os Template

I want to build one running Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and ISPConfig on openvz
Could I pretty much start with the Ubuntu 8.04 minimal install and then run the ispconfig installation [url]
and then make an ostemplate out of that?
The part that concerns me is will the hostname autopopulate based on what is setup during the build of the vm?
What about the SSL info it asks me for during the install, should I just enter something generic for that or?
Has anyone else done this?
I don't want hostinabox to be the only image with a control panel

I downloaded the ubuntu ez template and ran the below accordingly after wget'ing the template files in root mode of the *node*
vzpkg create cache
It was going just fine, until this in the end

Oct 25, 2008I decided to create an os template for hypervm with iscpconfig [url]
installed as control panel, to offer as an alternative to cpanel/lxadmin.
Of course the panel is bit ghetto and unappealing but it works and does the job right and it's also absolutely with no limitations free
I was wondering if few fellow competitors can take the time to review this image and notify me if they find any bugs/errors.

A default generic SPF record
suphp_ConfigPath set for custom php.ini (/home/username/php.ini)
Custom session.save_path for php (/home/username/tmp)
Create /home/username/tmp folder
I think thats about it for now. Any ideas? I know about zone templates, but they dont seem to fit this bill. They might work for the SPF records though.

Mar 11, 2015I am currently in the process of migrating a few hundred domains from one server to another using Plesk's Migration & Transfer Manager. The servers have the following name servers allocated:
Server 1: ns9.example.com & ns2.example.com
Server 2: ns1.example.com & ns2.example.com
In the DNS Zone Template in Tools & Settings on Server 2, can I just click Apply DNS Template Changes and change all migrated domains NS records to ns1/ns2? Will this affect custom DNS entries as a lot of the domains have DNS changes that need to remain. I'm just hoping that this might be a quicker way than going into each domains DNS zone and manually changing ns9 to ns1.
I just really don't want all the domains DNS zones to reset to the standard template on Server 2 ...

DTH Is Simple Great
May 27, 2009Because i have couple site hosted by both hosting company (DTH=downtownhost and TCH=totalchoicehosting) and have positive experience with them i needed to make decision who will be hoster for my new project.
The problem was by both company and by 99% others that traceroute command is not enabled by default and it is essential for my new project.
After exchanging a couple emails with both companies DTH was winner again because DTH allow on shared hosting traceroute command (in situation that you need it).
Answer from TCH was that only on VPS (semi-dedicated) is traceroute command possible and not on shared envirovment.
I must again praise DTH for the way how they handle with their customers and that they are ready to do everything for their customers. Not wonder that they are one of the greatest hosting company.

Jan 23, 2007So I was trying to run a backup process in Plesk 8.1 and the whole panel froze up on me (it's happened numerous times before).
Anyway, since the panel was all frozen up I just went into SSH and did a simple "reboot" (also, as done before many times). Only problem is, this time after I did the reboot the server never actually came back online... it seems to be locked up or something, I have no idea what.
I called my host and they are looking into it but they have no idea what's going on either and it's taking them forever to figure it out all the meanwhile my sites are down.... this isn't good.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice as to why this could be occuring?

I have created an CSR with my hosting, submitted to mine domain company so i can have the ssl, and installed in my hosting company.
But now i want to change mine hosting because the hosting company doesn't accept chained certificates..
So if i change mine hosting i could mantain mine old ssl ? or what does i need to do?
