I want to check error logs in hypervm in my friend vps , as I haven't done before, I want to know where can I view error logs
I have a doubt if there was an error in installation of kloxo, as I couldn't find an option to add ip address in kloxo or any other error which is troubling in adding an ip to kloxo
what is causing this error,
"Internal Server Error. The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."
How can I check the logs to see if there are any errors? Can I check this via WHM?

I just ordered a VPS at connectswitch and now I can login into HyperVM but, at the homepage of the VPS server there is the following error:
The VM () Doesn't Exist on localhost. If you have migrated the vps, you can manually change the server in the database using the below, Or restore from backup.
I have recently started a forum and am wondering where I should locate the error logs for such things as database backups and failed admin panel login attempts.
There is the public_html folder, but I'm concerned that Anything contained within this folder is accessible to prying eyes. Is this true?
I have also heard of directory traversal, which I imagine could fall under the same category.
Would I perhaps be best off creating a folder outside of public_html for the holding of these valuable 'targets'?
What would I best to do to secure my server in this regard? It would have to be writeable for the system to be operational.

every thing is ok but i need to remove this error and i can't under stand from where comming ! "/usr/local/apache/htdocs"
I am running Plesk on a VPS and a page on one of my websites won't load no matter what I try, I want to view the error logs but aren't sure how to go about it on this system...
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt's been a while since I've made a backup in HyperVM but in the past I've had no problems. I decided to make a new one after so long, but when I did I got the error "no permission to make back up []". I contacted my provider to fix it, but it's been almost 24 hours and they still haven't gotten anywhere it seems. They even asked for my DA login information which I don't think is needed to fix the problem but I provided it anyways.
My question is, is this problem really that hard to fix? How would one fix it? Maybe I can just tell the provider how to fix it so I can get this done ASAP and then I can get back to using my VPS.

My issue is that my websites I have hosted there just come and go. They will be accessible for a few minutes, then return "unknown host" errors for a while, and then come back like it never happened.
I am amusiming this is a dns issue, but I am not really sure where to start. My dns template looks ok, but past that I am lost.
After a full year of operation, I think I need to delete some log files. What types of files can I safely delete (and is deletion the best option, i.e. will the files be regenerated from zero length?)
For example, my server's error_log file is 193 Mb and my access_log file is 14 Mb. Can I "rm" them both?
Are there any other such files I can safely delete that occupy space on the server?
I was checking my error_log today and found thousands of 404 errors for these 2 files:
/flashtalking/ftlocal.html
/doubleclick/DARTIframe.html
I assume they are file requests made from ads on the site.
Right now I've just added those directories and files to appease the error logs, but can I fake their existence somehow without having to clutter up my file structure?
We have running a Plesk 12.0.18 update #47 on a CentOS 6.6 VPS.
Suddenly one of the domains hosted has stopped recording the error logs from apache so we can't troubleshoot the web issues. All other hosts are working right.
Does any have the solution for the Check nameservers of CSF error Error RFC 2182 (located in a topologically and geographically dispersed location on the Internet). I have not found any proper solutions other than ignore the error in many forum. But it should have a proper solution somewhere If any one as the exact solutions provide here so that everyone will feel good

I am not able to take backups of the content of the server. This is the error I get:

I want the ssh codes for 2 different set of control panels, one with cpanel+whm and other with kloxo+hypervm
and I would also know how to check the files causing the load, such as some files could have been interrupted while processing, so they could be causing load some times, so I want to stop such processes if any are running on the vps on my friends accounts
Anyone know of a host that runs XEN without HyperVM as it's control panel? I want to avoid HyperVM due to the 0day exploit in it.

85.xx.xxx.xxx 85.xxx.xxx.46 85.xxx.xxx.50 4/5
And the state ball it's grey and says All Assigned, but 85.xxx.xxx.50 shouldn't! And really the IP pings!
When I make ls -la in /vz/private it have a temp VPS I think.

In the front page table it says 5 used IP but I have a directly assigned IP to the server 85.xxx.xxx.246 and I have no pools configured for it!
What can I do! I have already checked and I only have eth0 not secondary eth0:x
I see an enormous amount of companies offering HyperVM. I'm curios as to how many companies use it.. probably a large majority.

I installed CSF on my hypervm node. Its installed and work correctly. But when i block a port, for example "80" i see "80" blocked to all vps too!
Where is issue and how can fix this problem?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI am trying to create some vps using openvz but after creating the vps with the Centos basic template 304mb i can't ping the ip and i can't view the centos welcome page in my browser (using ip and not domain, so i don't need to change there anything yet) and the most important is that i can't connect to the vps using ssh
I aks for many good users about my problem but i don' found a solution yet.
I ask my DC about ip's and they told me that the ip's are routed in my server.
I follow this instructions:

I follow this:
I disable selinux by editing /etc/sysconfig/selinux and changing the line to selinux=disabled
and then run:
I just login using ssh as root and run the folllowing commands.
Did i have to move to another directory to run them or ?

Next i open /etc/grub.conf
vi /etc/grub.conf
and change default=1 to default=0
Then i add the ip's at the pool and create a plan and then create a vps without any errors but nothing.
I try with my DC resolvers or the 4.2.2.1 4.2.2.2 but nothing.
I alo add at the settings the gateway with no results at all.
After all i can't ping the ip that the vps got from the pool even ping it and not possible to connect to it using the ssh Sad
