Yum :: Does It Saves The Installers / Setups Somewhere?
Feb 22, 2008when we install utilities by 'yum' command, does it saves the installers / setups somewhere?
How can we delete those setup files to free up space?

Plesk 11.x / Linux :: PhpMyAdmin Gives 500 Error Or Saves File To Disk At Login
May 27, 2014I am runing ubuntu server 64bit with plesk v.11.5.30, phpmyadmin v.4:3.4.10.1-1.
When i try to acces phpmyadmin from : myserverIP/phpmyadmin - it gives me 500 error.
When I try to acces phpmyadmin from: mydomainserver/phpmyadmin - it saves file at login into the disk instead login. I was going through different threads on the web to solve that problem but no success at all.
I have real basic knowledge about webservers, phpmyadmin and mysql server. I am runing my first cloud server just few days.
There is no possibility to access preconfigured phpmyadmin from plesk according that thread: link So what for do I need plesk?
Multiple VPS Setups
Apr 30, 2007I was hoping to get some feedback from those who have used multiple VPS setups in their hosting environment.
ie: One for a dedicated Web Sever, one for a MySQL server another for an Application Server, etc.
If you are or have used this kind of setup, what kind of performance did you experience?
Any other pros and cons?
DirectAdmin Name Server Setups
Apr 2, 2009Having some trouble with Direct Admin name server setups. This is the first time we are using Direct Admin, and we are coming from cpanel.
Here's the situation;
Since I can't ever seem to get a hold of DA's support staff till the next day, I will ask yet again; here.
I am a bit confused on how to setup the name server IP's in DA. Here is our situation...
We currently have a cpanel server, which we are migrating from to our in house DA server. On the DA server we have 5 IP's. They are as follows;
eth0 = 75.99.56.xx3 - main server IP for apache
eth0:0 = 75.99.56.xx4 - ns1
eth0:1 = 75.99.56.xx5 - ns2
I want to setup a reseller account for jvs-hosting.com as it's what we have all of our customers under now. I then want to add them back under jvs-hosting.com. I also want the name servers to be the same for any new resellers we may add.
ZONE.Net Slow In Setups.
Sep 17, 2007I am not sure if this is there normal practice or not. Ordered a server over 24 hours ago, and it still hasn't been set up. (Vm200).

Your VPS has finished installing cPanel, at this time we are waiting for the license to activate. It should be within the next 30 minutes or so, and you will receive your welcome email with login information.

30 minutes has turned into 6+ hours.
I advise against Zone.net if you need your setup asap or don't mind waiting even if you're on their managed plans. If you don't mind the wait and the 30 minute turns into "HAHA just a time so you can shutup" type of replies, then go ahead and sign up.
