Feb 10, 2015I am trying to transfer Plesk 12.0.18#34 from an Ubuntu 12 server to an Ubuntu 14 server.
Using the transfer manager, I got these warnings:
The following Apache modules are not installed on the destination server: authz_default. Please install and enable these modules to prevent possible problems. The following Apache modules are disabled on the destination server: roxy_http,proxy_html,proxy,authz_groupfile,reqtimeout. Please enable these modules to prevent possible problems. The php_version 5.3 is not available on the destination server. Instead, Plesk will use the following version: 5.5. To use the same php_version as on the source server, you should turn on or install it on the destination server. 3 domain(s) will be affected.
I am a bit puzzled by the authz_default warning as it is not supported anymore on Apache 2.4.
If I override and launch the transfer, I get these errors:

I've got a question though, a few websites which hosted in a shared server, they don't use cPanel. How can I move files from there to my server? My server is linux system. Sam told me use FTP software, I tried FlashFTP, logged in 2 servers, but can't transfer files, don't know what reason.
Does anyone has a better idea to move all my website? I can ZIP them all. Just don't want to download and upload, can I move directly? In windows, we can use download software download directly by http links, can we do the same, how?
Cpanel Server Transfer
Oct 25, 2008I have to move 140 domains from my old cpanel dedicated server to the new one and have root access on both.
Earlier I wanted to avoid copying unnecessary files and was thinking of creating fresh domains/emails on new server and transfering content, but then realised that it will need more than 160 hours of manual labour (including informing clients that their passwords have changed).
Please advice as to which transfer method will be best based on the following constraints:
1. 70 domains will be done one week and remaining 70 next week while both servers continue to run.
2. On the new server all domains will have different nameservers.
METHOD 1. Putting same version of WHM-stable on both servers and using its "Copy an account from old server" feature. After copying the 70 accounts (one-by-one seems to cause less issues with large sites) we change nameservers for those 70 domains over the weekend.
METHOD 2: For every account on old server use "Generate a full cp backup" and let cPanel FTP it to a dummy account on the new server. Restore on new server and change nameservers for those 70 domains over the weekend.
METHOD 3: Run "/scripts/pkgacct username" on old server, move the tar.gz file to new new server. Restore on new server and change nameservers for those 70 domains over the weekend.
METHOD 4: Reduce TTL for A records on old server. Use WHM "Copy an account" on new server. Then modify DNS on old server to point to new server IPs. Now change nameservers at Registrar.
METHOD 5: Asking my datacenter people to use rsync etc. But this will move all data together,
Cpanel Express Transfer
Mar 30, 2008I am trying to transfer around 20 accounts from one server to another, via cpanel/whms multi transfer account script. I notice that cpanel/whm has the express transfer feature which is the following :
"Express Transfer = This will edit the zone on remote server to reflect the new DNS which can result in expedited propagation, forward any incoming mail from the remote server to the new server, suspend the account on the remote server, and prevent dynamic content from being loaded on the remote server (so no data will be lost)."
For some reason I can't seem to activate the express transfer option, or even figure out how to use it at that matter. Can someone please tell me how in the world I can enable this option? It will save me a huge headache from having to redirect the DNS zones manually.

Plesk 11.x / Linux :: Parallels Marketplace And Domains - Server Transfer Prohibited
Jun 11, 2014I've got a serious problem with a domain I purchased from parallels marketplace.
I have a plesk installation at my current provider (server4you.de) and I ordered a domain via the integrated services of plesk: marketplace.parallels.com
Great. So now I own the domain.
However, I cannot propagate my IP or set the domain's dns servers. Of course, a proper DNS template has already been applied.
My plesk installation is not hosted by parallels. My provider (server4you.de) sais, they can't do anything, because I ordered via plesk panel. The domain has been purchased via marketplace.parallels.com, but the registrar is tucows. I have no user account for tucows. Regardless what the plesk KB sais, it is NOT possible on my marketplace account to set the nameservers. I don't have that option in my marketplace account.
It seems like I have a domain now that I cannot use. Where can I set the nameservers for the domain?
The parallels support is hidden behind seemingly 1000 barriers. Whom can I contact to set the nameservers for me? I CANNOT even transfer the domain to my provider as the domain status is "server transfer prohibited".
Multiple Account CPanel Transfer Without SSH
Nov 6, 2009I have a new dedicated server, and I want to transfer multiple accounts from a reseller package I have with a third party to the new server.
I only have SSH access on the dedicated server so I can't use the Multiple Account Transfer feature of WHM, only the single account transfer feature.
Is there anyway I can transfer multiple accounts without SSH access?
Another question - how can I mass change the MX records of accounts once they are transferred over?

Both uses plesk 11.5.30 version.
I'm using the "Migration & Transfer Manager" for importing everything but it does not work. The error is
