a shared hosting provider where we can host around 10 websites. Webspace and bandwidth required are not too high as these are normal marketing websites. Our most important requirement is to have an option in the control panel for getting a copy of all the incoming & outgoing mails sent thru each domain.
We are facing issue with option " Switch on limitations on outgoing email messages", after the plesk upgrade to 12.0.18. Please find our license details

I'm fed up with the overloaded 1&1 shared hosting, looking into VPS now as I'm finally getting serious about one of my sites.
I tried offloading scripts and images to amazon s3, which helps a bit, but any sort of php application processing is painful.
Admittedly, I haven't implemented caching at all yet and my query count is definitely bad but even so load times seems excessive as the site isn't getting any real use yet, just me testing (and I will make heavy use of caching for all entry points in the near near future).
My must-have:
-PHP5
-2 seperate MySQL databases
-htaccess/mod_rewrite
-fast initial response time on loads
-unlimited subdomains would be nice
Don't really care about the control panel as long as it does what I need. I'm fine with command line and managing myself... looking for a cheap option that will allow me to grow to a medium sized site before I consider a full dedicated option.
Also, don't need an outrageous amount of bandwidth as I'm using S3 for css,js,images, and video right now.
I will be running two domains on this site... one is the actual site and one is a single sign on gateway that won't put too much load on the cpu but needs to serve up pages in timely fashion.
I upgraded from 11 to 12 (centOS) and set outgoing mail limits for mailboxes, domains and subscriptions, as per the documentation at URL....However, it doesn't appear the limits are limiting outgoing mail. As I can still send far more mail than the current limit using a PHP script.
#### maillog (partial & timestamp + servername removed for brevity) #### py_limit_out[16427]: ERROR 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'lower' plesk sendmail[16426]: Error during 'limit-out' handler plesk sendmail[16426]: handlers_stderr: SKIP plesk sendmail[16426]: SKIP during call 'check-quota' handler

how to configure outgoing mail limits? I've also read through the sendmail documentation but couldn't find anything.
we the mail send through email client, the receiver checks local ISP's ip address or mail server IP address before it blocks the emails? Or does it check both IPs?
I installed and configured the POP3 and SMTP servers in windows IIS and set them up to auth using standard auth and windows usernames for the account groomi and admin.
I can receive incoming mail just fine, but when I try to send outgoing mail with the same credentials I get a 535-invalid logon error..
I want to config my IIS SMTP server to copy ALL sent mail to another address.
Or, to log in more detail what was sent (I have W3C logging turned on but it doesnt record the mail subject or body).
Basically when a user complains they didnt get an email, I want to be able to look in the log to see (a) the mail was sent and (b) the body/subject of the mail.
Is there a way to track outgoing mail that's sent from a Linux server? I'm running on Fedora 8 now, and would like to confirm and check mail that's being sent out by a PHP application.
I getting this error when our clients are sending mail from outlook but they are able to send mail from webmail.
we are using exim mail server and whm . i can't understand where is problem , anybody can help me ?
Sending' reported error (0x800CCC6A) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: 451 Please try again later.
how can we limit the maximum number of e-mails that can be sent by a domain in PLesk. We are facing issues where out server IP is getting blocked by some e-mail providers for bulk mailing.
I am trying to make sure my server configuration is optimally set to prevent my outgoing activation emails being set as spam.
so far I have set up an SPF record - Using Plesk for mydomain.com set up a DNS record of type TXT and value v=spf1 mx -all.
How do I check if this has been set up correctly?
I am using CentOS with Apache and Plesk 8.3 and I am sending mail using PHP's mail() function. The majority of the emails that aren't being received are going to hotmail accounts but I haven't yet sent a large enough amount of emails to view any concrete pattern. Curiously they don't appear to be going to the user's spam folder they are just being deleted outright.
Also, I'm not sure if it's related but one of my users mistyped their email address as @gogglemail.com and I now have a message in the qmail mail queue which is dated 1970. Is this something I am failing to do at a PHP level (i.e. not setting a date attribute)?
i just have a vps with plesk installed, since this is my first time have a vps, i have run into some problem,
so here is the problem.
i want to use pop3 account directly from my outlook, but i don't know how to fill the smtp outgoing address, which mean, i can logged in to account by i cannot send the mail via outlook, but if i'm using the webmail provided by plesk it's just run fine.
