I'm on plesk 12.0.18 Update #53 and have run the plesk reconfigurator to check for permissions issues.
I'm trying to delete a client from the panel and I get just that message:
"Internal error"
How to solve this?
I got this error without any kind of explanation and I cannot identified where is the problem:

A few day ago when i access Windows plesk i receive error Access Denied. [URL]..... Even i made these steps i still receiving Access Denied when i access. I tried use PLesk REconfigurator, put psaadm permissons on all C:, update plesk, windows and still having this issue.

I migrate from plesk 9.5 to another server with plesk 12.0.18, and then outlook and mail default from iphone don't work, but tunderbird and webmail work well.
In outlook when i put the same configuration than tunderbird and i try to send mail out from my domain said this error:
Error del servidor: '554 5.7.1 <244.Red-88-18-221.staticIP.rima-tde.net[88.18.221.244]>: Client host rejected: Access denied
I don't know if outlook is bad configuration but with plesk 9.5 worked well, and now nothing.
I can recive mail but not send.
I host a number of large sites (20GB+) on my VPS server running Centos6 and Plesk Panel 12. Due to the large sites I don't want to keep multiple backups on the actual server because it would take too much disk space. When I create a backup to the server's repository all is good, but when I click the green arrow to download the backup it takes a long time and then it fails with a timeout error. On some smaller sites it takes a while but eventually downloads the tar.
So my question: Is it possible to access the Server Repository via FTP? How and where would I set this up? Presumably it would be a better way to download these large archive files?
I installed the SiteProBuilder (from the www.site.pro page) in extensions of the Parallels Plesk Panel 11.5.30. I installed from .zip file on administrator account of Plesk Panel. The extension SiteBuilder was shown in all administrated subscriptions. On administrator account the extension works properly but when I log into the Plesk Panel as a client of one subscription then extension doesn't start and message is displayed: "Error: access denied".

As it seems impossible to extract files from the archives.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThe 'Additional Administrator Accounts' feature enables a Plesk login to be created for each administrator, so they don't have to share a login, which is good practice.
However, Plesk sends notification emails (e.g. Notification of problem domains) to all the administrators. How can we control who is sent notification emails? In our case, we only want them to go the main admin account.
In the 'Additional Administrator Accounts' form, the 'email' field requires a value. We could set this to a dummy value, but this would probably generate non-delivery emails.

I was wondering if it is possible to disable plesk redirect for clients domains on port 8443.I do not not want clients to to be able to access the plesk login screen when they visit exampleclientdomain.com:8443 but obviously i still want to be able to access my control panel e.g. myprimarydomain.com:8443. Is there something i can do to prevent the sites redirecting to my primary domain or am i better creating a htaccess rule to stop/redirect traffic on port 8443 ?
View 2 Replies View Relatedi would like to move few clients from my old linux VPS that runs on Cpanel .. to my new windows VPS tat runs Plesk .. you see there were several attempts by new provider .. they cant guarantee that accounts can be fully migrated even manually they only copied site files to new server .. the client account's still running on linux vps cpanel, they are intact .. clients dont have any php or mysql files they are just plain HTML and Flash files .. i can move site files .. im concerned about mail accounts and emails that already in my clients inbox (they are using IMAP accounts) .. do you guys know any guideline or step by step how to migrate my clients
P.S. please consider me as an uneducated person .. my background is designing not programming or network administration.
I have a problem with one of my Plesk Panels for windows (v. 11.5.30 Update #47). One of the clients is getting "Redirect loop" error when tries to login to his panel. The funny thing is that this is only happening to one account. I've tried to change subsriber for his subscription, but there was no result, since the same thing happend when I tried to login with the new subscriber's login.

Now, I have critical disk space usage because the one client has schedule daily backups and it's not affected on his account usage!!

Is it possible to get a list of domains that are using a specific pair of nameservers?
We've purchased several hosting companies over the years, and would like to consolidate the nameservers we are using and need to manage.
Thus.. we need to figure out which customers are using which nameservers.
So getting a list of which domains are using the nameservers we don't want to use any more would be a nice easy way. Then we can contact those specific customers only.
The last packet successfully received from the server was 60.410.682 milliseconds ago. The last packet sent successfully to the server was 60.410.687 milliseconds ago. is longer than the server configured value of 'wait_timeout'. You should consider either expiring and/or testing connection validity before use in your application, increasing the server configured values for client timeouts, or using the Connector/J connection property 'auto Reconnect= true' to avoid this problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a server setup and running shared hosting perfectly. I duplicated one of the plans and just set it to DEDICATED IP. This is for users that will be requiring SSL.
I then went into my panel settings and added in all the additional ip's. It even says in the panel listing "6 dedicated ip's available".
Yet, when I try to re-run the task for provisioning it constantly fails with the message:
Unable to create hosting. Ip address does not exist in client's pool ....
When trying to migrate from one 12.0.18 Update #26 to another, I got always the same error:

I've installed the Plesk Panel onto a windows 2008 server. It's all good, web sites are flowing and I'm really happy with the software. The issue I'm having is a customer has an asp site with an access database. After I uploaded their site, they couldn't write to the database, so I had to manually go and set the permission on the database for the "Plesk IIS Anonymous Account (IUSR_xxx)" user to have modify access on the file.
So my question is this, how can I set up the default hosting account to already allow this and so I don't have to go an waste time tweaking the folders manually trying to find the right permissions?
Also, why is it the Plesk IIS Anonymous account that needed to have it's permissions tweaked and not the "Default Plesk application pool user (IWAM_plesk(default))" which is the user who's configured on the application pool in IIS? I can't see where the Plesk IIS Anon user is being used.
Any user that logs in, even with the format domainusername, get's the following error message: 530 User cannot log in.I have already tried the following:

I need to create more than a 1000 domains and i'm hoping to do this using an automated process. I can create them individually through the command line interface on our windows server but this will take a lot of time and effort.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a dedicated server here in the UK with fasthosts (win 2008 server, IIS 7), which which has been running fine for nearly a year. it was running plesk 9.2, and then out of the blue it got errors creating a new domain saying that PHP wasn't installed.
PHP was/is installed on the server, and is still running fine within my 12+ domains/websites. at the point of the error it was running 5.3.8 - i had manually upgraded the version outside of Plesk, but it had seen the new version when installing new domains.
When Plesk stopped seeing that PHP was installed, my hosts asked me to upgrade Plesk, as it would solve the issue. I used that ai.exe program, and choose v11.
The control panel installed OK - but I did lose my websites for a while, due to it downgrading my PHP to v5.2, and installing an older MySQL version which tried to use the same ports etc (I also have manually installed mysql v5.5 and have 1gig databases in that installation!).
After chosing the upgrade to 5.3 option in the Plesk control panel, and turning the Plesk installed Mysql v5.1 service off and to disabled in windows services - 'revealing' my 5.5 version, I could at least get my websites up and running once again!
Once all those were running (the priority), I have found that v11 Plesk has the same problem as v9.2, namely that it doesn't think that PHP is installed and available.
The error on installing a new domain;
Error: Failed domain creation: Unable to update domain data: Execute websrvmng --add-domain "--domain-name=testkrispy.co.uk" failed with error code 1: PHP 5 is not installed
Oddly it does see PHP 5.3.15 in the Service components screen, and it's ticked 'green' in that page, so all looks well.
On trying to install a new domain using plesk I get this;
And also on pages such as webmail - it also shows 'PHP not installed' against those webmail clients which would need PHP to run.
Any way to 'force' Plesk to see that the PHP 5.3.15 version that it itself installed (and I've removed the component and re-installed using Plesk).

I've tried something found on this forum (under the 10.4 area), but that hasn't fixed it;
"C:ParallelsInstallerparallelsPANEL-WIN_11.0.9dist-msi-Microsoft-2003-i386php53.msi" you will have an option for "repair" - ran that, no difference.
So as it stands, Plesk 11 is running, and most functions work, it just doesn't recognise the PHP install that it put in place... so I can't add software which requires PHP through Plesk, nor add new domains. All existing domains are running and using PHP fine - so it's installed OK.
One error I've noticed on startup - within the PHP error log, is the following - which I'm guessing is coming from the Plesk's own PHP executable (I can see it uses a 5.3.10 version in it's own admin area, with an extended php.ini file? ) I'm guessing the plesk's php.ini extension is trying to double load some dlls (which isn't a problem?) but seems to not find the php_sockets.dll - although that file is in the directory specified!? If it's a php dll around network sockets, maybe it is trying to use those to communicate with a running php instance? (Just guessing here?)

I have Apache 2.2 installed on my Unix Server and have a couple of Application servers running each of them having similar Document Root.
For example, The URLS will look like below

The directory folder looks like

I would like to restrict access to the above prod1 URL for a specific set of IP's. How can I achieve this.
I run a virtual server (Ubuntu 12.04, Plesk 12, Postfix 2.9.6) using plesk to manage multiple domains. The server address is server.domain1.com. I use plesk to also manage domain1.com regarding all services, including DNS and mail.
What I just found is that postfix sometimes issues the following warning:

The essential part of my main.cf is:
myhostname = server.domain1.com

And /var/spool/postfix/plesk/virtual_domains contains amongst others:
domain1.com domain1.com/
I do not have any issues with receiving or sending e-mails right now, but would like to get rid of the error message however.
Could it be the problem that postfix automatically sets mydomain to $myhostname with skipping the first part (i.e., mydomain is implicitly set to domain1.com)? Should I manually set mydomain to server.domain1.com instead? Any other recommendations? Since mydomain seems to be used in multiple options [URL] ..., I wonder what I might destroy with changing this? As all mail services run without any further troubles at the moment, I don't want to break this...
As I assume that quite some people use a plesk-based server to manage the domain to which the server itself belongs to, I would assume that there should be a general fix/check to updated mydomain accordingly?
