I'm working with OS CentOS 6.4 (Final) Panel version 11.0.9 Update #61 and using qmail as my default mail server.
Now I checked my maillog (/usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog) but It didn't maintenance daily as usual.
Plesk 12 is used, latest #MU on CentOS 6.5 final.
Maillog is full of messages like:

We have just had reports of SPAM being sent from our CentOS 6.x server running Plesk 12.
Services like Plesk Premium antivirus, SpamAssasin, watchdog(rkhunter) and mod_security are enabled on the server to enhance security and none of these seemed to stop the scripts.
The issue is that multiple domains are sending out mail from this server, so it is difficult to find the script sending out SPAM.
When we were running Plesk 11.0 we had a seperate log-file where we could see the file sending any mail going out from the postfix mailserver. I have check both /var/log/maillog and /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog, but there is nothing in those files to tell me the file that sent the mail.
How would I go about finding this file from either the Plesk Control Panel or through SSH (using log-files)?
Ii got the following error during automatic Backup:

I used Plesk Version 12.0.18. The Backup is created, but i following this error Message.
On our Centos 6.5 Vps with Plesk 12.0.18 the scheduled backup to a personal repository ftp fails every time with this error:

what the purpose of rotating log files is and how often should I do it?
Reason I ask is I installed Logview (www.logview.org) on my server today, and noticed it was there. I also noticed my mail log was 850 megs, which is a lot in my opinion.
I have Apache making seperate log files for each of my virtual hosts and putting them in /home/vhostname/log. Rotatelogs makes a new log every 24 hours, but the logs quickly add up and since the sites are fairly busy the logs are at times over a gb. Is there any way to make rotatelogs delete the log files after two days? Or should I just use newsyslog?

Yes using NSLOOKUP and DIG both always return results from the first name server if it is up (no rotation) and when it is down, the timeout is the default 5 seconds (not the 2 that I specified) before going to the second name server.
i have a little issue with the domlogs folder.
I should empty this files but i don't know if it is possible to do without reboot Apache.

I have already setup whm-> tweak settings to delete old domain's access logs after stats run and the whm is setup to generate statistics every 20 hours.
But every day the site is slowly because the domlogs are too big.
my VPS didn't come online after a reboot(reboot via SSH). After that I tried to reboot it via HyperVM but I got an error like Couldn't stop VPS.

I started mail server (DNS + reverse zones + SPF record) and it works when I send emails except sending to Hotmail.
I can send email with attachment to my hotmail address but If I leave email without attachment, mail won't be delivered in my hotmail mailbox
Server logs don't tell me anything (I can see regular lines that mail has been sent and I don't receive any info about bouncing from Hotmail)

Over the past week, the SMTP server on my VPS has been hanging whenever I try to send an email from my computer. It'll eventually work again, but now it's been down for the count for about 18 hours. Tech support keeps on recommending minor fxes and issuing standard responses like "try disanbling your firewall" and the like, but nothing works. I have already told them this:
* I know _you_ can probably send POP/SMTP mail through my server. I can't.
* Mozilla Thunderbird will connect and send mail through other
POP/SMTP servers.. Not my server here.
* I can connect to _receive_ email, but I can't send it.
* My ISP (SBC/AT&T ADSL) does not block outgoing mail to port 25 on my account; I had the block removed.
* I've got an exim server running on port 26, too. Doesn't make a difference.
* I tried connecting from another ISP (my work PC). Still can't send mail.
* I tried using IP addresses instead of my domain name. Doesn't work.
* I didn't change any account names, passwords or anything like that.
* I tried other email clients. Can't send mail with them, either.
* The exim queue has very few messages in it. Clearing the queue didn't work.
* I disabled firewalls. Didn't help. Besides, I was able to connect
to other mail servers - just not my VPS here.
* There are no typos in any of the account or general configuration settings in my client. Nothing changed. One day I could send mail, now I'm having problems.

Any ideas? I think tech support at my end has given up; it's been hours since I last heard from them, and that was just to say that they updated everything to the current version, and disable the firewall. (Again!) Didn't work.
So, before I pack my bags and find another VPS host, what should I do? Having outgoing SMTP email is a MUST; not having it is a deal-breaker.
After moving my sites to a my own dedicated server I have some problems with the "crop and rotate" at my coppermine gallery. I get this error:

I have tried installing all sorts of different repos and it just isn't working.
When I try to install using # yum install php-mcrypt I get the following:

I need to setup 5 email accounts on my domain, each will use IMAP and store messages on server, so total space taken by each account will be 2-5 GB.
I have decided to go with eurovps.com as I'm close to them and ping is fast.
What is the best solution for IMAP and large email accounts: Linux Cpanel, Linux Plesk or Windows Plesk?
Each account will be accessed by 2 people differently by Thunderbird and occasionally by webmail, so nice webmail is a plus.
I have a server running Linux and PLESK, and am interested in switching to Windows and PLESK. Will the backups made under Linux restore under Windows?
