I bought 2 SSL cert. One for secure.mydomain.com (ssl for modernbill/kayako) the other is for server.mydomain.com (for accessing cpanel/whm)
Let say mydomain.com IP is 1.2.3.4
Because they are using same mydomain.com there are problem with this, if i go [url]it will be pointed at [url](one of my domain subfolder)
What I want to do is that cpanel/whm has their own ssl and secure.mydomain.com has their own ssl too.

Nov 3, 2014I am developing new module and installed SSL certificate using following API call.
Request call:

<install>

But when i checked this domain by open in browser. the certificate is not installed. After lots of R&D i found that there are option of select SSL in hosting setting screen. The default selected SSL is "default certificate".
I have changed this option to "not selected".
After this changes i have installed certificate again and it is working fine. So is it bug in plesk or it is default behavior Plesk Panel?

Nov 20, 2014I've written a script to send property data to rightmove.co.uk as part of their new automated data feed. However they require a secure connection to their systems when posting the data. They have provided me with a .pem file which is a security certificate. I need to install this on my plesk server but where to start as most certificates require a private key and the actual certificate. The private key I have been provided is only an 8 charter string, like a password.

Oct 30, 2008i am trying to update the self signed certificate that comes with cPanel but cannot do it. When i go to "Install a SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain" and enter the ssl information and click submit, i get the following error:

the domain is a subdomain and it shows the subdomain is installed with *cpanel, *whm, *webmail when i goto Account Information -> List Subdomains

How To Move SSL Certificate From Cpanel To IIS
Oct 24, 2007I have a certificate generated in cpanel (whm), I have all the necessary keys (RSA, CSR, CRT + I bought rapidssl cert. according to these values), but I would like to use the certificate within IIS.
Does anyone know, how to import these keys properly into IIS (Windows 2003 Server x64)?
As IIS stores the private key somehow in the registry, I do not know how to proceed.
SSL Certificate Inside Cpanel Expired
Jun 5, 2009I connect to my email on my dedicated cpanel/whm server by TLS/SSL (similar to instructions here: [url]..same ports, etc.)
Today I login & get a "This server's certificate expired"
But it didn't. I purchased a NEW one June 1st. Why is thunderbird grabbing my old ssl cert? The website's https:// works perfectly.
I also checked the server ssl self-signed certs and all are up to date.

Apr 16, 2007We have a few users that use SSL email and we decided to purchase a cheap single-root SSL cert over at namecheap for the host name so that it would end the "self-signed cert" whining.
We got the cert installed and it works great for WHM/cPanel and also works for SSL over IMAP and POP3, but the very first email anyone sends (SMTP) per day gives this warning (Outlook Express):
The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified.
A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider.
It seems obvious that the cert used by the SMTP system is not the new one we installed.
We used WHM's SSL/TLS -> Change Server Certificates link to install the cert.
We then made sure that:
/usr/share/ssl/certs/host.domain.com.crt
/usr/share/ssl/private/host.domain.com.key
/etc/exim.crt
/etc/exim.key
...all contained the current cert or key as appropriate.
Just for grins, we even made sure:
/usr/local/cpanel/etc/cpanel.pem
...had the correct pair.
We restarted all the mail services and even restarted the whole server. (I know...Windows reaction...bad tech.)
Does anyone know of a stealth location where the SSL cert for SMTP should be updated?

Jul 18, 2009i am running a VPS and recently installed cPanel DNS Only so it can operate as a standalone DNS server.
I would also like to serve standard webpages on it via apache and php, i therefore tired to install php, mysql etc via 'yum install php' but it says there is no package to be installed.
Has the cPanel DNS only install done someting to the yum config? I have installed Yum Priorities plugin, and my repos files are as follows:

SSL - CA Bundle Won't Install In CPanel
Nov 2, 2007Has anybody ever had this error in CPanel 11 SSL Manager? How did you solve it? We used the CA Bundle supplied by Comodo. We tried installing SSL with Comodo and the CA Bundle isn't installing at all. Is this an issue with the server?
The CRT itself installs fine so it looks OK from web browsers - but not Google Checkout.
