Can you please tell me if it means that the connection has timed out or something else?

In Cpanel, If i click on Apache Status it tells me aload of website that have been visited recently, under the vhost column. It shows this but sometimes under those it shows aload of (unavailable). Why is this. Is this normal?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIt seems to be common that in httpd status in Apache 2.x except real connections you can also see multiple connections from www.example.com
Is it a bug and if not is there a way to make httpd status to not show those www.example.com connections?
I have just upgarded to Apache 2.2.x and see these processes in httpd-status
127.0.0.1 www.example.com
Tens of them actually.
why httpd-statsu displays local addresses along with remote ones?
I just installed DirectAdmin with Apache 2.2 on CentOS 5.2 and whenever I manually restart httpd, it doesn't show if it started the service or not.
Code:
[root@server ~]# service httpd restart
Stopping httpd: [ OK ]
Starting httpd:
[root@server ~]# service httpd status
httpd (pid 17586 17585 17584 17583 17579 17555) is running...
It's running but it doesn't show the OK..
Is this bad? I'd like to fix it before I start moving my files over so I don't mind if I have to reimage it.
I can access FTP, SSH and httpd is showed as running when i check with 'httpd status'. Memory ram has half of them left(except that swap is 0,0).
I can't access my site via browser
Why tried restarting
[root@web2 ~]# service httpd start
Starting httpd: (98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address [::]:80
(98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down

Days ago i did some edit in my.cnf and php.ini, httpd.conf ( i don't remember what i edited , sorry ). Now i can't view server status . I mean

img520.imageshack.us/img520/8650/17287760.jpg ( my page ).
Maybe i disable it... Can you please tell me how to re-enable it again?
This month I just pruchase dedicated server, spec are AMD X2 with 1GB RAM.
On ssh, the memory result is:
root@server1 [~]# free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 883 836 47 0 163 397
-/+ buffers/cache: 275 608
Swap: 2047 0 2047
My question:
1. Why the total ram just 883MB? I think it should 1024Mb?
2. The server still empty, but why I see the total used memory is 836Mb?
I only have experience with cpanel vps and when my server empty it only use around 200MB RAM and around 400MB ram usage when my vps load with 30+ account.
we have an option in WHM which we can view the Apache Process, but we don't have this option in PLESK, can I view Apache Process in PLESK too or from SSH?

I have checked dnsreport for this domain and found this
WARNING: One or more of your mailservers is claiming to be a host other than what it really is (the SMTP greeting should be a 3-digit code, followed by a space or a dash, then the host name). If your mailserver sends out E-mail using this domain in its EHLO or HELO, your E-mail might get blocked by anti-spam software. This is also a technical violation of RFC821 4.3 (and RFC2821 4.3.1). Note that the hostname given in the SMTP greeting should have an A record pointing back to the same server. Note that this one test may use a cached DNS record.
***********.co claims to be host svr01.xx*********** [but that host is at 74.xx.xx.2 (may be cached), not 74.xx.xxx.13]. <br />
What should i do to correct this error? btw, I host about 100 sites on this server.
I have a Debian server with RAID 1 via hardware.
Could someone tell me how can i check the RAID status? ( if a hd failed or something like this ).
I have a PROMISE TECH hardware raid card running a 4 disk RAID 10 array. I logged into today to check the drive statuses which were:
Drive 1: OK
Drive 2: OK
Drive 3: OK
Drive 4: OK, PFA
So they all look to be okay, but that 4th disk has PFA (I'm guessing that stands for predicted failure analysis) but I am not sure if that means its predicting a fail, or just stating that the technology is running?
Also, this array is the system drive on a server which has much too little memory, (there is usually 5-7GB PF swap during the day) and I'm concerned that the drives constantly under that stress are more prone to fail. They are 2.5" SAS 10k Fujitsu if that means anything.

have a look at my mysql status? My php forum gets quite slow at times and I don't really have a clue about the reason why. The server runs on a 3GHz Pentium 4 with 2Gb. The load is strangely not excessive.
I have already made an effort at optimising queries; a week ago, everything seemed fine. I'm worried though about the value of zero for handler_key_reads. Any ideas?

How do you add more server status services? Like how do you add like "exim" to show that it's up and running or something like http, ftpd etc..
How do you get things like that to show up showing green under server status?
Are there any good scripts for getting server status?

Issue: Unable to access simple server status reports though server-status.(chrome could not find..)
Environment:
Home Lab; Win8(dont ask..)
apache 2.0(httpd-2.0.64-win32-x86-no_ssl)
*Fire down, router rules unrestrictive
set in httpd:
...
<Location /server-status>
SetHandler server-status
Order Deny,Allow
Deny from all
Allow from all
</Location>
...
Advanced mods, require compilation to standing installation of apache but the server status is said to be precompiled with the version.
i am trying to get server-status to display. when i have the following set:
<Location /server-status>
SetHandler server-status
Order deny,allow
Deny from all
Allow from .myServer.com
</Location>
You don't have permission to access /server-status on this server.
Pretty new to Apache and recently enabled teh Apache Server Status module.
A column is confusing me, after CONN/CHILD/SLOT is CLIENT, most of the addresses in this column are my own local addresses but I have a few which I don't recognise and show up on whois.net as follows;
203.188.201.201 = Yahoo Mail
199.87.232.177 = No Result
141.44.51.95 = Query terms are ambiguous
58.218.204.102 = CHINANET-JS
Why would these show on my status?
