Stats Not Updating In CPanel But WHM Says They Were Updated
Jun 24, 2008
I can't seem to solve, perhaps you could give me some pointers or tips on how to fix this.
All the cPanel stats programs (Awstats etc..) haven't been updated since the 17th June but when I login to WHM it says the stats have been updated (within the past 24 hours).
On the 17th June I moved my hosting operations from the USA to the UK onto a new webserver.
How can I make sure these statistic programs are updated and shown from cPanel, even though I can tell it to update via SSH (completes) and claims in WHM with no problems (updated with in 24 hours), the new stats still fail to appear.

Stats are not updating for this account. I ran this twice, keeps getting stuck at this line forever..
But I'm not sure how much power it actually takes to generate theses MRTG stats... The server is a Celeron D 2.8Ghz, 512Mb ATA soft raid system. Do you think that I should update the stats less frequently to decrease the server usage?

I have noticed that resellers traffic stats (looks like email) are not being updated and just show 0.
On the server that is for resellers I see there is a file in /usr/local/psa/var/log containing a file mail_traffic_pendings.dat with sender and recipient domain traffic. I presume this has to be processed to go into the database, but obviously it is not. How to debug this issue so that email stats get updated for clients.
I look after a number of sites and monitor their stats. We use both webalizer and AWSTATS so we can have a comparison. Up until recently the stats for both of them where relatively the same, webalizer usually showing higher numbers as it doesn't filter bots but the progression of increase and decrease in stats was proportional. However, over the last few months a curious trend is appearing, the stats in AWSTATS are decreasing every month whereas the stats in Webalizer are increasing, the gap between them now is huge.
the above commands done nothing - really waste of time!
The cPanel asked my to contact my VPS provider and ask them to reinitialize quotas for your VE and possibly check further into the node to correct the issue. As for VPS provider they did some tests & told me that they "fixed" & can't find any issues on the node, but the problem is still exists.
asked by VPS provider to do: /scripts/fixquotas restart VPS /scripts/upcp --force
how to fix cPanel bug?
The attached image are proof of Disk usage not being updated in WHM & cPanel, as this account contains 17.6 MB (18,472,960 bytes).
I recently installed Urchin on a cPanel server (RHES 4), all sites got its profile added into Urchin database, but when I run urchin for 1 site manually, it freezes on 0% and processing... Logs files have 0644 as explained in google Urchin manual ...
Also, using IP:9999, and viewing the profiles and its stats show 0 stats generated, but going to www.site.com/cpanel, then to Webstats - Urchin, shows every day with graphs, everything is ok...
Does anyone know how to disable cpanel urchin access, and only use the IP:9999 access to manage and view all statistics...
I have almost 300 sites on one of my server, and its a pain in the *** to get every statistics on each cpanel admin... so what I need.. is a centralized webalizer/analog utily/addon/module to get all stats on one page... i meant stats from all the 300 domains in only that page... so that way i will avoid jumping between cpanels admins to watch the stats...
Does anyone know something like that for a cPanel server with RHEL 4
On a cPanel server, running RHEL 4 I got the following error (from cpanel logs) while associating an user with a DB from the cPanel admin:
Fri Apr 11 17:02:47 2008 info [Cpanel::Mysql]: Not updating privileges for user (reseller login and no password specified in ~/.my.cnf) at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Mysql.pm line 268 Cpanel::Mysql::updateprivs('Cpanel::Mysql=HASH(0xa4a8768)') called at /usr/local/cpanel/bin/mysqladmin line 88 Fri Apr 11 17:02:47 2008 info [Cpanel::Mysql]: Not updating privileges for user (reseller login and no password specified in ~/.my.cnf) at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Mysql.pm line 268
In fact, from cPanel interface all privileges are added OK, but the MySQL itself is not connecting at all due to this error.
