Rebuild SSH
Jun 13, 2008We lost ssh access in one of our vps and we unable to give ssh access with putty.
How can rebuild ssh with yum? because we have console access to server.

Rebuild VPS
Oct 7, 2007I started out with xxx.com and the VPS server's name, dns, etc, is xxx.com. I have since sold off xxx.com and would like to set up yyy.com on this VPS.I need the VPS to be clean (all files, databases, ftps, etc to be deleted) with the servers name changed and set up so that the dns server's name will be yyy.com instead of xxx.com.
Can it be done without asking my host to do it cos they are charging me $75/hr for that and an extra $35 to rebuild the VPS!
If any one can assist me on this or even charge me a small fee to get this done for me, I will be extremely greatful! This is the first time I am using a VPS and I have no idea how to do such things!
Rebuild NT EFWEB 5.2 To Linux
May 9, 2007We have a substantial web development job to do, and we just found out our client bought a new Windows NT server running Apache! [url]
The problem is that we will develop the site on our Linux server then move it onto their server when it is ready. But I don't think this is going to work, and we don't touch Windows boxes.
Can this NT server be re-built as a normal Linux server? Is that a long or expensive job? And roughly what would it cost?
Rebuild Php Error Libjpeg
Nov 6, 2007I'm trying to configure php with domxml, and need me to rebuild php.
I added this to configure.php
Quote:
--with-dom=/usr/lib
--with-dom-exslt=/usr/lib
--with-dom-xslt=/usr/lib
After adding:
./build clean
./build php n
An error shows!:
configure: error: Please reinstall the libxslt >= 1.0.3 distribution
I installed libxslt:
yum install libxslt-devel
The next error after ./build php n (clean before)
configure: error: Problem with libjpeg.(a|so). Please check config.log for more information.
I installed libjpeg:
yum install libjpeg-devel
I tried to rebuild php and it still gives me:
configure: error: Problem with libjpeg.(a|so). Please check config.log for more information.
OS: CentOS
CP: DirectAdmin
Does anyone know how to fix this? (libjpeg-devel is already installed!)

Aug 19, 2007I have a Windows 2000 server running Raid 1 software raid. Recently, one hard disk in the mirror crash, I replace another trying to build the mirror. Problem is the existing hard disk has a few bad blocks, even after chkdsk it still failed to rebuild the software raid, error msg was due to bad blocks in the existing hard disk.

My MagicSpam logs show that the email is sent to my server anywhere from every 15 minutes to 1 hour. Mar 14, 2014I had an hosting account with a copany, recently I migrated to VPS managed by plesk 11.5..I was able to get the awstats database file from the old host, and i have copied them in the /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/statistics/webstats/ folder, together with the other database files genereted by the new VPS hosting
Only problem is that plesk only rebuilds everyday the static page for the current month, and I see no way to ask him to build the pages for this past months. Also would be good if he would rebuild the header to have updated the dropdown menu from which to choose the month to dispay..Is it possible to rebuild manually these static pages?
