RAM Requirement For Mail Only Server
Feb 23, 2009May I know if a VPS with 256MB RAM is enough for a server running Qmail only?
I will add perhaps 20+ IMAP Mail accounts onto it.

File Server Requirement
Mar 29, 2008We have a requirement of a file server that has at least 10tb secure disk space such as raid 1+0.
We tried solutions with voxel but they have failed to prove the desired results since the solution provided to us was a nfs with samba mount in windows. The network transfer speed is too low to sustain atleast 100Mbps file transfers.
he basic thing we need is:
10TB+ Files----->mounted in multiple servers----> http files served.

Apr 9, 2009what hardware component affects the performance of a server computer. For instance, for gaming the hardware component that affects the performance is RAM, processor speed, graphics card, etc (Ex: Crysis needs like a crazy amount of RAM and a really good graphics card); On the other a high-end animation software basically just needs a lot of RAM (for rendering); what components will play a huge role in the performance for servers? Maybe it needs a very good cache? like 4MB L2 Cache to transfer data?.

Feb 20, 2013I just setup an intranet wiki running apache2.2 on ubuntu 12.04. The server currently requires two-way certificate authentication (i.e. a server cert AND client certs).In <VirtualHost *:80>, Redirect permanent / https://<intranetSite>
Everything works dandy, except now that I'd like to find a way to bypass the client cert check for localhost so that I can run some maintenance scripts via cron on the server. Or perhaps it's possible to bypass SSL entirely, just for localhost?
