PosgreSQL 8 On CPanel. Login Errors With PhpPgAdmin

Sep 12, 2008

I have experimenting problems with PosgreSQL 8 on cPanel.

I have installed PosgreSQL via command line:

# /scripts/installpostgres

Once finish, i went to WHM and install config. But when i create a new user, and go to phpPgAdmin, appears a login link, with the username account. Login is unsucessfull with default username and pass (i have no access). I am using actually x3 theme (i try with other themes and the same..).
Could be a cPanel bug?

VPS With WHM/cPanel Webmail - Login ... Then Login Fails

Jan 31, 2008

Just got a new additional VPS with WHM/cPanel.

Browse to www.mydomain.com/webmail and get login box > login accepted and taken to Horde/Squirrelmail choice screen > choose Squirrelmail and get login box ... login not accepted! > Retry and choose Horde ... login not accepted!

The login is correct and the results are the same when logging in as root, or through /cPanel or /Webmail.

PhpPgAdmin's Doesn't Adhere To Pg_hba.conf's Rules

Sep 13, 2007

I've been editing pg_hba.conf all day trying to set the right rules so that only some IP's can access the db.

Everytime I made a change, I restarted postgres, however phpPgAdmin does not seem to reflect the changes.

Later on I discovered that pgAdmin3 adheres to pg_hba.conf

Does anyone know if this is a phpPgAdmin bug?

Email Errors - 550 Callback Errors

Feb 13, 2007

I'm noticed I was getting bounced email errors from a company I was sending email through and I further investigated this by running a dnsreport on my domain.

Turns out that it fails at Acceptance of NULL <> sender, Acceptance of postmaster address, and Acceptance of abuse address. The domain that I ran a test on is using a new IP that I had recently added to my Direct Admin server. None of the other domains on my server are having issues like this.

Is is possible that I need to do something to enable these new IP addresses in exim? I mean, exim obviously responds to that IP address, but it seems to be having some issues with it.

Login To Cpanel And WHM

Apr 23, 2008

I have someone on my server that is having problems login to Cpanel and WHM.

They can view all websites on the server even theirs, but they cannot login.

They keep getting: Firefox cannot establish a connection with the server.

Even in IE they get a error message.

They even tried with "theirdomain.com/cpanel" and got the same thing.

They are using a rounter also, so I told them to try unhooking that, but my main question is, it doesn't seem that their IP is blocked as I checked, so is there anything else on the server that could cause this or is it something on their end?
