I am having problem with VPSempire. Started from yesterday, my VPS server suddenly down, I have contacted their support and after 3 hours they replied that they have unplanned maintenance on their server, and they promises will contacted us if maintenance process was done. And 2 hours after they reply my ticket, they inform me that server back online (5 hours downtime).
After they notified thay server back online, i check my VPS, but i see that my VPS still not alive. I contacted them again, and Gavin just says "Attempt a reboot via HyperVM Maybe?". I replied to ask about HyperVM main IP to access HyperVM, because on their second activation mail (yes second activation, because they have moved their servers), they don't inform me about main IP to access HyperVM.
But Until now.. Gavin did not respond my Email. It's more than 15 hours until now and my problem at VPSEmpire not resolved. I Frustrated about this issues, because my client complained me hard .

in July 22 2008 we have some problem, we can't log in to console HyperVM and we have created some ticket to support.and we have email from them the said :
Please see emails in your account regarding the HyperVM Server move.
You now need to use:

Please login and change your email address so we dont have todo this again for you and you can use the forgot password feature.
from there we know it's not good! what the hell is this!
after that we try to rebuild the new vps and new ip without any backup data from old vps dam!.
in 26 July 2008 after we have been rebuild os and anything server is down.we try to log in to console HyperVM and it say This login has been Disabled. Please contact the administrator.

I paid the lite vps from vps from vpsempire and after some minutes the server was activated!
I wanted to test server speed to remote locations as everyone does so i downloaded some files with wget. After some tests I had several files that were of no use so I stupidily run the rm command. From that onwards id been unable to log in. Did I mess the account?
Response time of the open ticket was very good . Even though they said the issue isnt solved ( very lil time from the time I opened the ticket) I am very happy with server speed.
Dont flame me due to my noobness, my mate will configure the server ( he has plenty of experience).

My experience with these guys is a disaster.
I wouldn't recommend VPSEMPIRE to any one.
Please see why below.
If you buy services and somehow the ip address do not match your location.(make sure your internet provider if from another state) And you ask for a refund they will keep your money because you might reuse it for fraudulent activities with US9.95) and will requests documents( passport, driver license, other with photo ID and your date of birth). Most probably to sell those info.
When they move to another server and they will not send your details until you find out that you can not connect to your vps. Once you send more then one support ticket requesting, they will provide partial info. (just to make days go by) It took me many support tickets and days until they gave me access.
They tell you you can get up to 15tb by paying extra 2$ (what a scam) How can you get that speed if their server is on a 20mbps and they tell you that you can not go more then 1mbps/24/7.
Finally I requested cancellation providing all the account info they sent to me to helpdesk and via e-mail. They wouldn't cancel my account. They rather give the info to a third party debt collection agency.
They will threaten me with this message:
If you fail to make your next payment then your bill plus the entirety of your Term (12 Months) will be added, You may also be billed at upto 20% By the Credit Collections Agency.
If you wish to prevent this then you may gracefully make payment or submit identification as requested and move on.
I didn't request a 12 month term only one month.
If you want to go threw the same as me go a head and have your business with them. May be they are racist because my name is not Christian. I don't know why they are giving me such a hard time.

I used to have a VPS with VPSEmpire prior to the vaserv takeover. It was a disaster.
However, I haven't seen any reviews on VPSEmpire since the takeover. Is anyone using VPSEmpire since vaserv and Russ has taken ownership?
