I'm looking to offer users on one of my websites the ability to have their own email account which would be related to the same domain.
Is there an easy way that would require no administration from myself that would allow them to choose a username and password, and then do all the cpanel setup behind the scenes?
I've just put all my own domains on their own server, away from my clients' domains.
I don't really want to go through 60 Cpanel accounts creating an email address for myself in each.
Is there a way to create a single pop account in each account? I seem to recall there's a way to change the default email address to fail: or blackhole: server-wide so I guess there'll be a way to create a mail account.
My cpanel/whm license just got expired.. now i will buy new after 3/4 days so today i urgent want to add new user can any one tell command lines how to add user & domain & passwords
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just run upon a problem while trying to go into my phpMyadmin from within my MySQL Databases icon.
When I try to log into phpMyadmin I get this message:

"This feature is not available while logged in with root override. You are logged in with the root, or reseller's password. Please login with this user's account password."
Also, as soon as I log into cPanel I receive a red "Warning: You are logged in using the reseller or root password." Yes, I am logging into the only account I have.
When logging in with the initial account I created I can view the MySQL dbs that I have created, but I don't have access to phpMyadmin - I get that error message. This is new because for the last two weeks - about as long as I've had this server - I have had no problem even signing in with the same user id and password. Suddenly it won't let me in.
So what do I need to do?
I created a new account, but I can't see my MySQL dbs with that new account.
I don't know how to modify my one existing account so that I can access phpMyadmin.
Any thoughts? I hope I've been clear.
I changed my nameservers from my last domain, I deleted all the dns entries etc... and updated my hostname etc... But, when I go to create a new cpanel account, it still shows up with my own nameservers and making it with my old nameservers.
I tried going to /etc/nameserverips and they were the new nameservers. Im not sure how to fix this, any ideas?

But a client joined today and i have new account created auto after payment and well it says in the whmcs the user has an login and password but when i tried to login with it it said login failed
Also it trys to login to whm not cpanel with the account, even tho its set up as shared hosting in products...

I’ve been working on a project for weeks and I can not solve this, hope you can give me an idea. I am working on a dedicated server, and I need to create some symlinks between different accounts and users...
Both accounts are on the same partition of the server (home) and I have root access and SSH access for everything.
If I create a symlink to a directory of another account and on that directory there is any HTML file (e.g. Index.html), that symlink works great and it shows the content on that file.
HOWEVER if the symlink targets to a directory in which there is a file in (e.g. Index.php) or any script programmed in PHP (e.g. Joomla) it does not work and gives...
“Internal Server Error” + Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered...
When I go to Cpanel the “error log” says...

However, If go to SSH and edit server owner of the symlink, so both symlink and target file has the same owner (chown user:user directory_name) the problem is the same, but on the “error log” the UID Mismatch disappear and I only find...
File does not exist: /home/zzz/public_html/500 shtml
I’ve also tried modifying suexec by changing... “domain . tld ” for “domain - tld ” on the server alias, and does not work.

So the question is... HOW can I create a symlink between different users on the same dedicated server partition, that target to PHP scripts or how can I allow the server to execute PHP scripts through symlinks of different accounts?
I want to create a webpage where users can make a SRV record. I thought this is possible with the Plesk API but i dont have any expierance with the API. How to create it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having an email issue and I can not resolve. I am hoping for some assisstance here.
One of my local clients are not able to email each other in their office. (About 10 employess I believe)
They are using Outlook mail client, and using ISP's SMTP server. They are able to send/recieve email to other users externally, but not intenally.
Using webmail works perfectly fine.
I spoke with my host and the said everything is working fine. I checked with the ISP to see if they are blocking the IP address on the SMTP server. They said they were not.
I have a personal account on the same server and tried to send email to another local email account, and it did not work either. Tried to send email to my clients email and they did not recieve anything.
I am on the same ISP as my client, so Im still not sure if its the ISP or not.
I have a limited access to WHM because I'm with a resellet account, but I want to change the new account email that sends cpanel. Server has installer RVSkin if this helps...
I've looking in WHM but I didn't see anything...
Can you tell me where is this option? then I check out if I have it...
