Nov 15, 2008I am receiving a lot of cpsrvd emails every day and I am unsure how to stop this error.
I have read somewhere that a possible cause is that there is no space left on the server. I do have a warning in my WHM next to "Disk /dev/hda6 (/) DMA+ 86 %". Could this be a possible cause of the problem?

my server is with 4 Quad-Core Intel Xeon 2.66GHz (16 CPu) and 16GB of RAM. Is running CentOS Linux 5.1 and Apache/2.2.8. The site that will be running in this server has an average of 360,000 pageviews daily, so we want to make sure to tweak the configuration at its best.

Ssh Saving The Key Failed
Jan 3, 2008I was trying to generate ssh key for my server and get this message below

andyj: this is my username for my domain which is hosted in that server.
How do i allow 'andyj' user to have permission to do this? Note, I can do this with 'root' just fine. I'm using CentOS 5.

FSCK Failed
Oct 19, 2007Our DC was perfoming a hardware test on one of our servers and two hours later, they have said:
A fsck was run on this machine which seems to of failed somehow, resulting in the machine failing to boot under any kernel or in single user mode. As such we are at the point of not knowing how to proceed. If you have any ideas please let us know so that we can try to get this up and running.
We had a new hard-drive put in two weeks ago, due to FSCK failing.
I don't know what to do.

So, to begin with, I installed yum to make my job easier. That went without a hitch. Then I did a yum check-update to see what was going to update...among the list was php and Mysql...excellent. When I issued yum update, however, I got a failed dependency error, and for the life of me, I can't solve it. Hoping a centos/plesk/linux guru can help me out here...

Jan 4, 2007I have a busy cpanel mail server
Very often now and then, i have 2 issue coming up:
1. Unroutable E-mail bounce back message
The message looks like this:
you@gmail.com
unrouteable mail domain "gmail.com"
I have already set "unlimited" mail per hour on cpanel itself and it should not be giving me this message but it does again.
2. Exim failed by itself (SMTP Error while sending out e-mail)
I am using Outlook Express & Thunderbird, sometimes while sending out the e-mail, it gives SMTP error popup message.The e-mail was never sent out. I can only solve this problem by restarting exim manually.
What are the permenant solution for both of this issue?

Phpbb Upgrade From 3.0.1 To 3.0.2 Failed
May 28, 2009My current phpbb Installation is 3.0.1 and i want to upgrade it to latest 3.0.4. However as you know, automatic upgrade is available only for 3.0.2 to 3.0.4 and 3.0.3 to 3.0.4. So iam attempting to upgrade 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 and then auto upgrade 3.0.2 to 3.0.4.
I have downloaded and extracted the 3.0.2 source. I have moved the install folder of 3.0.2 to root where my phpbb has been installed. I then used the url domain.com/phpbb/install and the browser based conversion/upgradation has been invoked.
However iam having serious trouble in providing the board path. whatever i have specified, it returns the error --
Could not find path to your former board. Please check your settings and try again.
» ../.. was specified as the source path.
Cpanel Install Failed
Mar 28, 2009I have tried my best to install cpanel on a fresh new CentOS 5.2 server.
But everytime failed,it take me about 5 hours to install.
And I find no cpanel service is installed.
I think re-install is also no use.

Judging by the other messages i have been getting from it cpanel did an update on it last night.
This error however won't go away, i get a new mail hourly about it.
Looking through google and some forums i have seen that forcing a cpanel reinstall with "/scripts/upcp --force" usually fixes the issue. However this throws up another error, i get:-
