Steaddcom.com - Appalling

How have your experiences been with steadcom.com lately? I recently converted from Vpslink as I seemed to get better latency to steadcom from where I am. Despite being told the setup would take 1 hour (although a grace time of 24 hours is mentioned) the account took 3 days to setup. Several techs told me "it's been setup, and we have emailed you the account details". I run my own mail sever, and was able to prove these emails were not sent to me. 12 hours later a tech say's he has finally created the account (basically making the earlier techs liars, because they clearly hadn't created the account). He went on to explain that they were in the middle of an upgrade and that account creation times had taken a bit of a hit - fair enough I suppose (but why not tell me in the first place?).

I have now had an account for 2 weeks and it's been absolutely plagued with issues. There are 10-12 outages per day of anywhere between 10mins and 8 hours. I have now employed a third party monitoring service which shows how disgraceful their network is.

Email tickets are opened, and I get a short email back saying something along the lines of "try now, it should be fixed" without any information about WHY it happened and WHY it wont happen again. Last excuse I had was "we restarted a router". Do they not have redundancy?

I've really had a guts full, I don't know how anyone could use their service with any amount of confidence. If they'd just explain WTF was going on I might have a little time for them, but this is pathetic.

Vectoral Servers - Appalling

I ordered a server from them on friday at around midday. The confirmation e-mail stated that I would recieve a call to confirm the order. This never happend.

I tried phoning them...kept getting cut off. I tried live chat on their site...never any operators available.

I opened a support ticket to find out what was going on. They replied stating that server would be ready by monday morning at the latest, and I would recieve a call from the activation team once it was ready.

This call....never came.

I phoned them earlier today, finally got through to someone who told me that the server was ready, and I was just waiting for a call from their activation team which I would recieve within 4 hours. It has now been over 5 hours, and I have heard nothing at all.

I thought I would try their live chat again to find out what was going on, but that keeps going on and offline every 5 minutes, or so it would seem.

I'm now going to give them a further 24 hours to contact me, after which time, if I haven't heard from them, I will be reporting the matter to trading standards.

If anyone from Vectoral servers see's this, can you please let me know what is going on.
