I run some scripts that either require Zend or Ioncube (my choice). Is one better than the other in terms of performance or overhead? I think I'd rather install one module instead of both on my server.
Code: wget [url] #### replace below with the version tree you have (I will use 4.4) cp ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so /usr/local/lib/php/extensions Add this line BEFORE any other zend_extension (e.g. Zend Optimizer or eAccelerator). (#### replace below with the version tree you have (I will use 4.4))
I'm running Plesk 8.4.0 and for whatever reason apparently IonCube didn't come pre installed or wasn't working so I tried installing it which is just getting the .so files and adding it to the php.ini that didn't work so I tried Zend the installer said it was complete but again no go. So I have this for an error
Zen optimizer is installed my server, when I try to intall ioncube, all php sites goes down and I get Internal server error, Ioncube and zend dont work together?
and if it s possible to intall ioncube for single site in shared host?
i upload all files ioncube in /user/local/ioncube and go to user/local/Zend/php.ini and in end add zend_extension = /usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so
i got plesk 8.2 installed on my fedora core 4 server. I would like to install ioncube & zend optimizer.
Anyone can explain me stepwise how to do..
i read many post on the forum about it but i have not succeded in..

I struggled many times to be able to set up the ioncube & zend optimizer but in vain..
I'm trying to get ModernBill installed here and it gives me the error about the temp directory however it is in fact there and there are other files in it. Any ideas?

I was wondering. I got modernbill working on daily mode (Anniversary billing date is the date they signed up on). I wanted to switch to monthly mode, make everyones bill due on the 20th of the month. It says in the control panel of modernbill you can never do this.
But I wanted to know. If I do it, will new customers be setup on the monthly mode (Getting invoiced on the 20th of the month, and paying pro-rated and old customers still on the normal bill date? I just want to get all new customers to start using that billing mode of a synced billing date.
I have installed ModernBill on my server, and I had few packages created in WHM beforehand. Will or will not the ModernBill package setup will really take effect on the WHM packages?
Do I have to do anything on WHM in order to get my ModernBill running properly?
I have moved away from using modernbill, and have a licesnse to owned mb 250, i was wondering if MB allows the transfer of their licenses, Its just to overwhelming for us and even after renewing the 6mnths support period on it just cant get it going how i want it.
I now use WHM Autopilot as a billing application and OnlineNic as a Registrar.. thats about to change
I have heard great things about Modernbill, and bad things about Plesk Billing, I was curious, now that Plesk bought ModernBill, has anyone tried there newer versions?
I just need a good Payment System that works well with WHM
I'm trying to install Modernbill v.5 onto a Plesk Server. Now I don't know if this will effect it at all however, the system is a CentOS 5 box running HyperVZ (Virtual Servers) on OpenVZ. Then the VE Environment is running Plesk 8.2 with the newest updates on a CentOS 5 OS also.
Anyways, so I've fixed all the other errors however no matter what I do I continue to get these two errors,

I have tried all the different varieties of entering the path name to the tmp folder which is set to 777, however it continues to tell me that it can't find the temp directory. Also for the php issue for open_basedir I've commented it out and tried putting it to = none. Again neither of which work even after restarting apache.

I'm now running litespeed server to power sites on a VPS. Currently, a site is working without https access normally. However, when you access the site via HTTPS (SSL), I recieve ioncube is not loaded. Comparing the phpinfo, it appears that the https is loading the old configuration of phpinfo, what's worse, is that it's loading PHP 4. Both however, load the same PHP configuration file.
Site error: the file /var/www/vhosts/goldgames.org/httpdocs/forum/converge/upload/install/index.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.1.so to be installed by the site administrator.
I am trying to install converge, my server has Plesk that supposedly comes with ioncube loader installed, helper and assistant say all is good to go, but... it's not..
I have tried with the ioncube loader in the same directory of converge, right above it, on /root, nothing, nada, zilch...
to install IonCube on my server so iPanel will work. When I go to install IonCube, I need to edit a extension called zend_extension. I go to attempt to edit this by following the directions very carefully by going to my php.ini folder and editing it, I press Ctrl + W which is a search option in pico. Type in zend_extension and their is nothing found. If somebody could please help me, please do. Maybe even install IonCube and iPanel for me, I will send $10.00 via PayPal.
to install ioncube on my server, but I have a few questions.
1.) [url] there are the loaders, which one do I need, and once I download it to my computer where do I put it on my server, and how do it I put it on my server? I have putty but I don't know how to move a big thing like that.
2.) Is there anyone who could help walk me through this on MSN or AIM? It would be greatly appreciated as I'm new and learn from other people.
I run WHMCS as my billing system for my company and everything is working fine, except piping emails to WHMCS.
The people I am hosting WHMCS with are running PHP 4.4.8 and so I have the loaders for 4.4 uploaded to my account. When I try to send an email to an address that is set to pipe to WHMCS I recieve the following:

Now why would the script want ioncube_loader_fre_5.2.so when the site works fine?
