Icecast
Jul 3, 2007
I was trying to install Icecast on a new server, and I did: ./configure , it started and it said:
checking for xslt-config... no
configure: error: XSLT configuration could not be found
I googled and it said that I had to install the xslt-dev rpm's, so I downloaded, but when trying to install the rpm, it said that I needed other dependencies, so I downloaded this other dependencies, and when tried to installed them, it said that I needed another, and then downloaded , and I needed another, so I ended up downloading +10 RPM's; and well, I think that maybe there's something wrong there hehehe.
I have CentOs 4.5;

install Icecast with IceS onto my VPS with CentOS 5 and cPanel/WHM. I'm trying to use IceS to play from a playlist when there are no live programmes (from a folder)
I have tried over the past 2 days trying to get it working (reading various bits and parts from different instructions and guides), I fear it is something to do with the configuration files as when I start Icecast and go to domain.com:8000 it does not work.
Whoever can help, I'll be more than happy to give free web hosting for whoever helps me, or be willing to pay a few quid too.
