Colostore

if anyone has any experience with colostore (colostore.com)? I've had a look through WHT, and although I don't see anything negative, I haven't encountered any reasonable length reviews either..

Anyone currently using them? How is the bandwidth? Support response? etc.

Fdcserver dont have uptime SLA but Colostore have uptime SLA.

Colostore - 3 Month Review

Thought I would give my opinion of Colostore now that we have been with them for 3 months.

We moved to colostore one server at a time, migrating accounts, they have great bandwidth for a great price but not many people have given reviews on them so I was a little hesistant at first as with any company.

After our first server was there, everything went real smoothly, Joe and Jay were very helpful in getting us initially setup, so we decided to continue moving there.

We had a little problem with the WVFiber bandwidth at first with it giving a little slow speeds but they were very nice and had us setup on just Level3 routes for a little bit additional per month. Since then I believe the WVFiber routes have been resolved and speeds are back to normal, but their Level3 link is just simply amazing in speeds.

We had a RAID issue that locked up one of our servers about a month into the service, I believe it was around 1AM EST and I called their support, Jay answered and he had it back up for us within 15 minutes. This was pretty great support for being so late and paying so little for the colocation. We also had another incident with a bad power supply at 2AM at night on a Saturday if my memory serves me correct. Jay had a new power supply installed and my server back up within the hour.

None of these issues were their fault, but they went in and fixed everything for me without charging me any fees except for the replaced hardware.

I have been very happy with their customer service. Regular support emails can sometimes take a few hours, but when you need something immediately they get it done ASAP. That's what I love about them, you can't expect a managed service for their price, but they do a great job in servicing their customers.
