View 13 RepliesAll my 7 websites have been down for about 4 days!
No any email to me and no answers to my tickets!
I feel that it is important to share this information here!
I bought the VPS about 10 days ago!And everything go wells until 3 days ago!
I can not login to my control panel. So I submited a ticket for help!
all together I submited 5 tickets!
But no answer to me until now.And now I see all the tickets I have submit are just disappear!
I signed up with PrimaryVPS about a week back. The price was good, the setup took only an hour or so, and the support was great - helpful and prompt! Since then, there's been 53 minutes of downtime (reported by host-tracker) which the support guys blamed on a kernel problem, and now their support app is down with the message: "License Error: Key file has expired"
Are these just some temporary hickups or signs of time to come?
I hope their growing popularity hasn't made them oversell nodes on their VPS's.
I inquired about this sales. New company good price Good service. WRONG.
So I get on live chat and talk to Mike and tell him all the requirements I ahve He says no problem pay for managed hosting at $25 a month and we will install all of that for you. So i go to check out enter in there coupon code for 20% off for lifetime and when i get to the paypal page to pay whole different story. Says 20% first month then regular price the rest. So I cancel out of that go back to live chat and get Mike I tell him what happened he says no it is 20% for life. So i take his word for it and head back over to checkout. This time it wont let me there site has a problem and wont complet checkout. So back to live chat I go. this time they transfer me to victor. Who informs me they will only install my stuff if I pay $25 a month and pay them $50 and hour. I tell him I have a guy to install it all for one-time fee of $35 can you do it for that no our fee is $50. Plus they want to charge me $25 a month for fully managed. When i can forget the fully managed and only pay one-time $35. Victor found he would rather argue with me and then try and insult me about a typo error.
Stay away they will not be in business for long. See bottom of chat below. ....
Almost been a month with PrimaryVPS, VPS is fast with excellent support from them.
Helped with every single issue. They solved my problem in midnight via YIM, support tickets, and chats. They were able to help me at all hours also.
With me, PrimaryVPS is great. And I am going to buy more VPS from them.

Please mention wat about them ur complaining like their support or watever?
I have been with primaryvps since May and in last two months I was very busy... and then came back from vacation, it was working fine for a few days... indeed, I could access my server as late as last night. But then my server is down today, with empty page at primaryvps.com and there's nothing else.
So I got nervous and came here to check... and I realized that a lot of people had troubles with them, perhaps more than I did, but then are they really going out of business? As a customer I received no warning of any kind, though.
Any certain info on their current status would be appreciated. I wrote them (support and victor's email) but didn't get responses... In the past they replied very fast, so there's something strange going on for sure...
I was surprised to see that they had 100% uptime in May according to their logs. I am used to see 99.98%, 98.97% etc. etc. with other hosts. But even 100% is quite possible.
On June 7th the uptime suddenly dropped below 96% with avg. 7 outages. I was really disappoined as I was planning to signup. But after a day or so it again rose to 100% with 0 outages on all of their servers which clearly explained the 100% uptime of May.
According to them they had a attack because of which IPs of nodes had to be changed and subsequently they also changed it on hyperspin.com (their server monitoring service). I immediately signed up on hyperspin to verify this claim. Changing the IP or hostname of a monitored service on hyperspin doesn't reset its log is what i clearly observed. Its quite visible that the logs were reset intensionally to hide the actual server uptime and make it always show 100% percent. When i reverted back to them on this issue, they prefered to close the ticket. I just want to know from other hosts, it this practice common or primaryvps.com is an exception? Well as mentioned on their site, the uptime log is located at:
hyperspin.com/publicreport/30037/20077
But don't expect too much. It has only two figures 0 for outages and 100% for uptime.
